The maintenance package is included in Hyundai's coverage and is NOT an "additional maintenance package" as Phil Long is now claiming in their response. Look at this page from Hyundai's web site and you'll see this is true. https://www.hyundaiusa.com/us/en/assurance/complimentary-maintenance Notice the words "3-year/36,000-mile Limited Maintenance is included." It does NOT say this "included" maintenance costs an extra $599. That is simply not true. As a Hyundai dealer, Phil Long should know this. The only things covered by the $599 package Phil Long tried to charge for were oil changes and tire rotations...the very things Hyundai specifically says are covered. The salesperson mentioned several times that this maintenance was included. Nothing on Hyundai's web site and nothing in the salesperson's comments indicated this coverage is optional or should cost extra. In fact, the facts show just the opposite. Look again at the Hyundai web page I cited and note that it clearly says "3-year/36,000-mile Limited Maintenance is included." There is nothing ambigiuous about this.
