Definitely will not be going back. They disrespectfully under valued my trade in. We began to leave. They were "willing" to listen to my counter offer which was around KBB bluebook. They "accepted" my offer and gave me 1,500 of positive equity. They asked about the payment that we wanted. I threw a number out. Manager was going to "wait" for another bank to give them the final numbers. I decided to continue talking with the salesperson. The original offer was the price of the car with taxes. No warranties, no added fees. The monthly payment was extremely close to what we wanted. The manager then placed another offer with two warranties, better apr, and a dollar off of the monthly payment. I normally dont accept warranties but being an electric car we wanted a safety blanket. The second offer came with a "$500" off of the vehicles price but was not guaranteed by the bank yet. I was willing to accept the offer if the bank accepted the numbers. I didnt hear anything. After some time, the salesperson was completing the trade in paperwork, i was then told that finance was working on the paperwork for the second offer. Finally went to finance and signed the documents. Once i got home i reviewed the true bill of sale. They charged me for a "dealers package" for $1500 plus the two warranties. Im beyond livid and feel disrespected/conned. Ultimately my fault for not asking the right questions and taking more time reviewing the offer. I however am looking to purchase two more vehicles within the next year and i will not be going back to Phillips Chevy. I will only return if i need to use my warranties which i have a feeling that after this review, whatever issue i have will not be covered under the warranty. More
