Michael was very helpful in my search for a new car for my family. He knew the specifics of the Mazda CX-5 that we test drove and went out of his way to make it easy for me to take it home for a night so that my wife could try it out. With a new baby its tough to get out of the house to look at a new car together and Michael made it incredibly easy. More
Went there to buy a new car that got good gas mileage. The mazda3 was the car I test drove . Liked it but they wouldn't budge on the price to where I wanted to be. It was the car used by the dealer. It was a 2012 with not even 5000 miles on it. According to them it was the same car except no cruise, no Bluetooth and it didn't have alloyd wheels. I asked if it got the same gas mileage as the other one. They said yes. We bought it and when we got home I found in the glove box the sticker on the window and it said it got 24 mpg city and a little more for highway. The other one got 34 city and 40 highway. Also the horsepower of the engine was not as much. Was not happy to find this out. Called them back and they claim they never said it was the same car. My husband and I both heard him say it. Went back in to make a deal but to get the other car would have to she'll out another 3000$ . Won't do it. Will never deal with them again. They lie to make a buck. Also asked for the name of Darren's boss. Said he is the boss. Asked again and said mr masano. Don't know how to get ahold of him. Also told my husband if he calls him a liar one more time he is on his own. More
This dealer misrepresents the cars they advertise on their web site. Example: they advertise a BMW as gorgeous, saying the paint shines, saying the interior is flawless. The car is a wreck. the conso their web site. Example: they advertise a BMW as gorgeous, saying the paint shines, saying the interior is flawless. The car is a wreck. the console is broken, the radio was replaced, without the trim, the leather is worn through and not reparable, the Chrome trim is damaged from sun and salt and not reparable. The rubber window seals are rotted away. The car is a wreck and the salesman just laughed and said the advertising works because they get 400 hits a day. He said several people like me have driven over 2 hours to look at the car so the advertisement worked. When asked why they have not sold the car, the salesman admitted that it was not in the shape advertised for the price. Stay away from this dealer, forever. They are what gives all car dealers a bad image. They are con-artists. More

I was a first time new car buyer going into Tom Masano's, and while I have been in other dealerships before test driving and considering different automobiles, this one was by far the best for the following and while I have been in other dealerships before test driving and considering different automobiles, this one was by far the best for the following reasons: Salesman was curteous and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job, and was also very knowledgable about the 2012 Mazda Mazda3. The other sales staff including Darren (guy who ran the majority of the paperwork) were also on the top of their game and were very supportive of my decisions and desire to look at/consider this certain car. Purchase of the car was handled very smoothly and tranfer from my old automobile to the new was seamless and handled professionally as well. The salesman's knowledge of the particular trim level was outstanding as just about everything that was covered through him had as much detail as the manual, which allowed me to jump right in with a general understanding of the car's features/functions. Even after leaving, the salesman noticed that I forgot to retrieve the second keyfob for the car and made it a significant point to contact me seconds after leaving the lot. All in all, I truly believe that Tom M's takes the cake in every aspect of the car buying experience, and I would highly recommend them to future first time car buyers. More
My wife and I were in the market for a new car so we did a little research online. We found a 2012 Mazda2 on Tom Masano Mazda's website and made an appointment to test drive the car. They responded quickly a little research online. We found a 2012 Mazda2 on Tom Masano Mazda's website and made an appointment to test drive the car. They responded quickly to our request with a personalized email, not the typical autoresponse you normally get when dealing via email. The specific car we were asking to see was a manual transmission. The day of our appointment we decided an automatic transmission would suit our needs better so I called, a half hour before our appointment, and asked to see the automatic instead of the manual. They switched the cars, no problem, and were very pleasant about doing so. Vince Marzano, the salesman we worked with, was fantastic. He showed us all of the car's features then took us out for the test drive. There was absolutely no pressure and he let the car "do the talking" so to speak. When we returned to the dealership, Vince left my wife and I alone for a moment so we could discuss whether or not we wanted to buy the car (which, trust me, after test driving the wonderful little car we knew it was the car for us). Once we told him we wanted it, he and his sales manager, Darren, and the rest of the Tom Masano crew gave us the best new car buying experience we've ever had. They processed us quickly and pleasantly. Darren even thanked my wife and I for having good credit ratings and making his job easier. He was able to knock some money off the car's price which gave us the ability to go with the extended, 100,000 mile warranty package. Several days after we purchased the car, Vince sent me a brief email checking to see how everything was going with the car and if we were enjoying it, to which I replied with a resounding yes. I would recommend Tom Masano Mazda to everyone who is in the market for a new car. Absolutely the best new car experience I've ever had. More

We checked online with several dealerships and this one offered the best price. We were in the lot checking out the Mazda 3's when we were approached by the salesman. He showed us a 2011 and took us for a test drive. The salesperson never once told us about the options or features of the vehicle. He also never did a walk around nor popped the hood to show us the engine. This being only the second time I bought a car, I really didn't know how to take this. He kept insisting that the '11 was cheaper than the '12. I showed him the pricing online showing that the '12 was less. He showed both prices with both reflecting $999 down or trade and even with the numbers right in front of both of us showing the 12 was less, he continued to argue that the '11 was cheaper. He then called the manager out who then threw a bunch of numbers our way to try and confuse us. Still the 12 was cheaper. Then the truth basically came out with the manager stating that "you can't sell 11's if you have 12's on the lot." Our trade offer was very low for our car. I had already checked KBB, NADA, and Edmunds to get an idea and their trade was well below this. I told them of my findings and what research I had already done. Then the trade came up another $1000. I told them if they gave us more for the trade, I would consider the '11 since it was still brand new and wasn't any different from the '12. They came up more. With the deal set in place, we bought the car in cash. I didn't really know how to take our experience until 2 days later when we bought our second car at a different dealership. This experience was a complete 180 and we were greeted and given above and beyond customer service. We have not even received a follow up or a thank you for purchasing a brand new car from Tom Masano Mazda. The other dealership sent us a personal thank you from the sales person and the dealership within hours of our purchase. I would not recommend this dealership if you are looking for customer service which this place lacks. However, they do offer some of the lowest prices in the area so if you can deal with poor customer service and a little hassle for a lower price then I would recommend it. More
