Sleight of hand by a greedy dealer. I bought a new 2020 Ram 1500. It's an awesome vehicle. But you must watch what the sales crew slips in front of you when signing documents for several hours. I told them up front that I didn't want any upgrades or extras. After I signed a mountain of paperwork, I realized that I had been duped into buying roadside insurance, and wheel and windshield insurance that covers many other things as well. I didn't catch this until I got home and read the paperwork the next day. This insurance is with a company called ZURICH. It cost over $2500, and I didn't want this at all. Then they called and told me that my license plates came in and that I owed them an additional $46 !!! Really? I paid so much for Division of Motor Vehicle fees and documentation fees up front, now they wanted more. If they would have absorbed the extra $46, I might have been OK with it. But no, it didn't happen. I foolishly thought that the days of sleazy salesmen and dealerships were a thing of the past. I was wrong. I bought a brand new Lexus from Ray C in Freehold six months ago. No issues whatsoever, and no asking for more money for Division of Motor Vehicles fees either. I was treated like royalty at Ray C, and treated like o fool at Pine Belt Chrysler, Jeep. Dodge, RAM, in Lakewood NJ. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM...THEY ARE TOTALLY DISHONEST. All they want is your money. My first two sales people that greeted me were David B., and Pasquale S., both were fantastic. The rest? Slippery at best. More

2 for 1 special!!! I went to Pine Belt with my wife and daughter and we were greeted by John in the lot while looking at a Jeep Compass. While my wife was test driving it, I explained to him that we were actually looking to buy 2 vehicles, the Compass and a Grand Cherokee. John located the Grand Cherokee I wanted and I took that for a test drive. It was nice being able to test drive them without the salesman in the passenger seat. When we went inside, John helped work out a deal for me that I felt comfortable with. The process from beginning to end took about 5 hours but for 2 cars, it was expected. The bottom line is that John made it feel more like we were dealing with a friend than a salesman. I never felt pressured to buy anything which is probably why I did. More
