This is my 8th lease and by far worse experience Honestly professionalism and follow up is at a loss with this dealership once the sale has been made. We were told someone would call us to schedule s Honestly professionalism and follow up is at a loss with this dealership once the sale has been made. We were told someone would call us to schedule service, until we escalated and called multiple times no one reached out to schedule us. While apologies were made after displeasure was expressed it occurred again. We called and left multiple messages for an update on when we can pick up our vehicle and until we physically went to the dealer to inquire and express our concerns, we were ignored. The manager called the next morning and apologized, but again why does it take nudging before a common courtesy call is made. When we did drop off our loaner to pick up our car Jeep keys were given to us, we do not have a Jeep. I understand mistakes are made but the level of carelessness and lack of regard for customer concerns is completely unprofessional. Also our temps expire Sunday, I was told it can take this long, but again, never in my experience leasing has it taken this long for a new vehicle. I asked what do we do if they aren’t in, we don’t want any issues if we are pulled over- the answer I received from the woman in the office was , “ No one will give you a ticket for that-“ Really? That is all I can say about that type of reply. They said the salesman would call us the next day and someone would follow up-big surprise no call. Another task we need to babysit because no one knows how to follow up unless you’re pushy about it. While the Finance associate and Ken in Service were helpful-everyone else seemed either uninterested to help or provided brush off responses and didn’t follow up. There are plenty of Dodge dealerships, like RT 18 or Freehold, do yourself a favor- go there instead. **Update- today we went in to pick up our plates. We were told to go to Home Depot since they did no have the right screw. Finally after my husband expressed how ridiculous that was (he actually needed to point that out to the saleman and other employees there) the put on the plate without the frame. Additionally we specifically said we wanted this vehicle to tow 10,000 pounds. The salesperson said it can tow at least that. The vehicle did not have a manual instead a link that was provided after the dealership closed and we signed off on the agreement we were provided this link. We were told to open it but we didn’t need to read it-basically the salesperson said they would be in trouble if we didn’t open it. It took 5 hours for them to get the car and our 4 yr old was getting tired since it was getting very late so I said I don’t have time to read it but I want to know that the vehicle is what I explained we needed including the towing capacity, and I was told it was not to worry. Shame on me for trusting them, but we come to find the vehicle can only tow around 8100 lbs. The camper we placed a deposit on and had in mind when we leased this vehicle was 8600 lbs. We tried to express the issue to the salesperson today reminding him how we expressed the needed towing capacity and the reply was I gave you the link... These replies and underhanded tactics used to make a sale is completely unacceptable. I replied directly to the manager who asked that I reach out, and gave him my number. I’m awaiting his call and I’m happy to update my review if they address the issue. I will update this review if I’m not contacted so consumers can be made aware of the potential headaches they can have when spending over $500/month on a vehicle. More
