Typical Dealership - Fees Galore I didn't buy a car so I can only comment on the upfront part. Carlos was nice and did a great job showing us the car. We really liked it. Then the fees. $695 detailing package, $129 nitrogen tire fee, $389 optional etching, $10 internet fee (this one was my favorite - a charge for getting an internet discount), $249 doc fee, $299 dealer fee, $149 registration, Yea, we could have sat there for a while and negotiated some of them down/away, Just got tired and left. I wish dealers would post the out-the-door cost on the internet (I know that is never going to happen). Also they wanted my credit card or a canceled check to "show that I was serious" before we had agreed to anything. I didn't give it to them. Apparently, they wanted to run a credit check without telling me. If you don't mind all this typical car dealership stuff, you might be able to get a good deal here - I didn't stay to find out. More
