This dealer is the worst. Don't deal with them! After they get your money they don't care about you. I leased a new Honda FIT EV (Plug-In Electric) from Honda Corporate that is available in a very After they get your money they don't care about you. I leased a new Honda FIT EV (Plug-In Electric) from Honda Corporate that is available in a very limited market region. Planet Honda is the only dealer near me that Honda is using for the technical trial for the Fit EV. I really had no choice but to use this dealer, or go to a dealer in New York or Paramus NJ. I signed the lease agreement provided by Honda to the dealer in March. In early June I received notification from Honda that they have reduced the monthly lease rate for the car for new leases AND EXISTING LEASES beginning with the June 2013 payment. Good News. Since I prepaid the NJ sales tax for the entire 36 month lease in advance (at the higher monthly rate), I am now due a refund of the excess sales tax paid because the last 36 months lease payment are reduced by $130/month. The excess tax that should be refunded to me equals $300.30. I contacted Bill Feinstein, the general manager about this, and he said "We do not refund the difference as it was paid to the state - you need to apply via your accountant." First of all, I don't have an accountant, nor do I have a relationship with the State of New Jersey sales tax department for collecting or refunding taxes. This dealer would not even work with me to help resolve the problem. In a normal retail environment, I I were to return an item, or even get a partial refund for some reason (price match etc.) the retailer would refund the sales tax on the refunded amount. Actually I think this is the law. BOTTOM LINE: If this dealer is unwilling to cooperate in providing the tax refund due me (a mere $300), imagine what type of customer service they would provide for more substantiol issues! Mario was very helpful and patient when my fiancé and I went into look at our options. He was not pushy at all. He took his time to make sure we walked out happy. Firstly i would like to say that it what made this the worst day is because the news that I find out going along after my purchase. Firstly I lease a 2013 Honda Accord, decided to have a change of heart a worst day is because the news that I find out going along after my purchase. Firstly I lease a 2013 Honda Accord, decided to have a change of heart about the car took of 3 different days of working trying to return it including a trip back the same day i purchased it still a no go courtesy of Mr.Frank. Overall dissatisfaction with the car was basically that its costing $656 a month for a leased vehicle. But that's not the only thing so after numerous attempts of trying to give the car back before I started driving it I was promised to come back in 4 months and he'd put me into something different thats lower in payments by Mr.Morris whom stated "I don't sells cars I sell referrals" guess it suppose to be a customer satisfaction statement. Of course I asked for it in writing that was a no also. Few months elapse I begin to coop with my payments for a vehicle that's not worth $656 a month and here comes another surprise which Mr.Morris, Mr.Hartley whom added the car to my insurance with the Geico rep on the phone, and Mr.Levi failed to mention the coverage required which would have made me instantly deny the offer had I known but hey i guess they saw a young kid that doesn't read anything I must admit I was and I didn't read anything but regardless as stated by a Honda Financial rep they were suppose to mention what type of coverage I must have but it wasn't nor were they suppose to let me drive off the lot with the coverage I had but long story short. Now my insurance is $1000 a month I'm ecstatic about that. Then I finally decide to read my contract as of a few days ago to find out that as stated in the contract both parties are suppose to be allowed 24 hours before signing these documents which I was hardly given in which 24 hours states to me that there had to been some type of remorse period which they didn't allow me to return the vehicle the same day because of greed. Overall this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership and now I'm stuck in paying $1656 a month just for a car. I've tried several times of communicating with Mr.Morris before i realized that his promise was as dead as a fish out of water. More
