Not the best oil change The vehicle was in for oil change - simple right? Well, the service tech failed to check the tire pressure. Subsequently, two days later at the start The vehicle was in for oil change - simple right? Well, the service tech failed to check the tire pressure. Subsequently, two days later at the start of our cold snap, three of the four tire sensors were activated. I called yesterday 10/30 and spoke with a service writer who made a futile attempt to explain away the issue. The bottom line, I owned a service facility for over 20 years. I know when it is obvious that the tires were NOT checked. I took the vehicle to Costco after this call where I was able to personally witness the attendant air up the tires. Immediately following this, all four tires showed the same pressure which would be expected if they were aired up using the same equipment, the same guage and the same person. This was not the case when the vehicle was serviced at Planet Nissan. Had this been the case, the variation between tires would not have been several pounds of pressure off, with the largest variance being 6 pounds. I get it, sometimes things get omitted, however, the gaff here is that rather than accept responsibility, the service writer who answered the phone tried to explain it away and NOT assume any responsibility. I am not stupid and I certainly did not like being treated like a dummy, to begin with. More
