I’ve bought three vehicles from Platinum Chevrolet specifically, and to be honest, I walked in this time with a fair amount of skepticism. My past experiences with their maintenance department had left me underwhelmed—to the point where I’ve previously pulled my vehicle out of service and gone elsewhere due to long waits and a total lack of basic customer amenities. The Sales Experience: TJ & The 'Late' Start I had an appointment with TJ, a young man who initially arrived a few minutes late. While that might have been a rocky start, his explanation was perfectly excusable, and we actually ended up laughing about it later. TJ has a top-notch attitude; he’s engaging, professional, and genuinely fun to talk to while navigating the paperwork. He is a massive asset to this company, and I’d highly recommend they do whatever it takes to keep him on the team. The 'D' Grade for Amenities The one thing that hasn't changed at Platinum Chevy over the years is the lack of customer care in the waiting area. When you’re about to spend a significant amount of money on an expensive truck, being told the water machine is 'probably broken' and directed to a vending machine is unacceptable. For a brand like Chevy, basic amenities like coffee and water should be squared away for people waiting on sales or maintenance. This part of the experience was a solid D.
