My wife goal was to lease the 2016 or 2017 Sorrento EX and return her Honda FIT (4 months left). We didn’t want to spend a lot since this will be our 2nd car. Originally we went to Nemet Kia dealership at Hillside but they lie to us about 2016 inventory and have us a $550 month lease price (zero down) for 2017 EX Sorento. Nemet Kia dealership was a Sh*t show and to get quote took over 2hrs for multiple pricing while Plaza Kia dealership took 15 min for lease quote. When we arrive at Plaza Kia motor, Claudio Perez approach us and ask what we need. We needed 3 different package for Sorento and he provide the quote within 10-15 minute on Memorial day weekend when is very busy. He was never aggressive or pushy, which I enjoy and he LISTENS. Half the time seller don’t listen or try to make you buy something you don’t want. I brought last 4 four cars thru Benz and 3 different Bmw dealership and Claudio and entire team a KIA beat them in customer service. I think our 2017 Sorento EX lease price was decent, not sure if it was the bottom price since we didn’t fight hard to nickel and dime. Entire length of the process we were there 45 min -1 hrs because they had a Cash Vault grab prize where I earn $186. They had two managers on the floor that day which gave the car pricing . 1)Julio Guina who was honest and said they are straight shooter and was 110% correct. They don’t dance around and waste time. Julio said he will waive any fee if Honda billed us for returning the car. He brought us fruits and food from street vendor for our family. 2) Stefanie Gamba she was the machine at crunching numbers and very intelligent and try to find ways to get you the best price. She look up my wife credit score and show us how to log in to the credit bureau and dispute the negative hits in her account. A$$sh0le Honda drove my wife score down over 1 accidental miss payment of $190. She even advised how to spread the payment to minimize the risk and didn’t have to do all of that but she genuinely a caring person which I was extremely impressive. BMW/Benz dealership never took their time in doing the little things. Overall Plaza Kia SALES DEPT went above and beyond in making sure all my needs were met. They even gave 3k in insurance for scratches/dent when I return the car. I can’t speak for all the sale men there but Claudio Perez was fantastic. Unfortunately I been reading bad reviews about the service dept which drive their score down for the Sales team. More
