The day I came in for service, she once again went out of her way to help me. She made me feel like I was her only customer that day and I know better! She is certainly an asset to Walter's Porsche. The prior owner had taken this car to Resnak in Pasadena. I had gone there when I was looking to buy a car and I did not feel welcome there at all. Outstanding Customer Service! My 2002 Porsche 911/4S had a intermediate shaft bearing failure which destroyed the engine (a design weakness in my car's generation which shows up in My 2002 Porsche 911/4S had a intermediate shaft bearing failure which destroyed the engine (a design weakness in my car's generation which shows up in a small percentage of cars). Unfortunately, Porsche as a corporation did not stand behind this problem. Fortunately, when I purchased my car (used) from Walter's Porsche I bought the extended warranty! Walter's Porsche did an excellent job dealing with the extended warranty company, who were looking for ways to minimize their payment on the claim. I chatted with Walter's Porsche General Manager Ed McRae, who then stepped in and worked with Adrian/Cindy in Service and the extended warranty company to maximize the amount of money the warranty would cover towards my claim. In the end, there was about four thousand dollars that were not covered by the warranty, which Walter's Porsche then split with me - thanks Ed! I also have nothing but the highest regard for Porsche Technician Francis Manuel (sorry if I misspelled your name!). I talked with Francis several times during the repair about my car and he was extremely knowledgable and very helpful. Great job Francis and Ed! Although this entire incident was painful to work through, I now have my 911 back with a new engine! After 1000 miles my car is running great - no problems, no issues. Thanks Walter's for your outstanding customer service…..you've got a customer for life!! More
