I strongly advise against taking your vehicle to Porsche San Francisco. I brought my dry, garage-kept 911 in for a simple battery check, and it turned into a one-month nightmare due to their negligent storage and refusal to take accountability. During a severe rainstorm, they chose to park my convertible outside "underneath the freeway" (their service advisor admitted this in writing). Unsurprisingly, the car suffered from water intrusion in the passenger footwell while in their custody. Instead of apologizing and drying the car they let get wet, they initially tried to charge me over $1,000 just to extract the standing water. When I pushed back, management refused to help and told me to take it up with Porsche Corporate (PCNA). They stalled for weeks, constantly telling me the technician would work on it "next." When they finally finished drying it after a month, they had the nerve to present me with a $2,500 repair estimate to fix a speaker that was damaged by the water intrusion they caused. I ultimately had to pay around $1,000 total (the cost of oil change for 680 plus a discounted ransom fee to dry their water damage) just to rescue my car from their lot. If you value your vehicle and expect a premium customer service experience, do not trust this service department. They will leave your car exposed to the elements, damage it, and then surprise you with a bill to fix their mistake. More

I worked with a different SA who was not transparent nor professional. Story would change by the day and it became clear him and his manager were stringing me along to add more options. Once enough useless and frivolous items were added, then he asked for a deposit which is fair and completely normal. What was not normal was saying there was no deposit form or contract, and that I should just handover a check and be ok with no confirmation of why I was giving them money, if it was in fact a deposit, and what the deposit was for. In addition to this, when I asked for a confirmation on the pricing, the sales associate sent it over a quote with 8k in add ons (ppf and ceramic), apparently both were mandatory but never even mentioned until I asked for a written quote. My instinct was to walk away at the first red flag, but with this car being difficult to acquire, I was willing to play along a little. What it ended up being was really no different than your stereotypical used car dealer trying to make an extra buck by intentionally playing games. I feel sorry for any Porsche dealer that has to resort to these tactics to make a few extra dollars and burning bridges with potential customers and future sales. This dealership is not worthy of the Porsche brand with people like this representing them. More
When I first came to Porsche San Francisco. I felt very welcome by everyone. The consultants are service . Michelle Gent is super helpful knowledgeable and professional. The conversation via te I felt very welcome by everyone. The consultants are service . Michelle Gent is super helpful knowledgeable and professional. The conversation via text is safe and very clear. I appreciate that. Michelle follow up with me a week later regarding spark plugs that need to be replaced. I was really pleased that Michelle inform me that spark plug needed replacement as Porsche changed their policy instead of four years to three years, that is wonderful Michelle. I am very impressed with the service and the service was excellent. Keon and Eric helped me to understand more of the the feature of the car. Everyone was very nice and have a good energy. Thank you so much and by the way, I like the hot chocolate from the café delicious More

The dealership is lovely and they try really hard, but there’s been a lot of turnover (I had 3 SA’s during my 6 month purchase) and they are “indefinitely short staffed” in service. With that said, th there’s been a lot of turnover (I had 3 SA’s during my 6 month purchase) and they are “indefinitely short staffed” in service. With that said, they try super hard to do the right thing. For example, my new car was delivered without functioning air conditioning. While this should have been caught during their pre delivery inspection, I understand these things happen. They told me service would call to setup an appointment, they didn’t. When I called back to make an appointment, my call wasn’t returned. When I called back to make another appointment, I felt like it was going to be handled professionally. However, the appointment never got logged into their system (I think they were installing a new computer system, so explainable, but still). Anyhow, I finally took the car in. They have to disassemble the car to fix the problem so I have another appointment two weeks out. They are providing a loaner during the 3-5 days they will have the car so we won’t be carless. But, it’s been a bit of a shlep on my part for a problem I should never have known about. I’m hoping the staffing issues get better and they can provide the type of customer service they seem to want to provide. More
