I'm in the market for a new 2021 WRX Limited - and I found a listing on Premier Subaru's website: MSRP of $37,465, listed for a price of $38,064. Not unreasonable at all. Contacted the dealership and found a listing on Premier Subaru's website: MSRP of $37,465, listed for a price of $38,064. Not unreasonable at all. Contacted the dealership and was told the actual price of the car would be $43,064 - a hidden 13% increase. Apparently a secret $5,000 "market adjustment" is added, but only if you express interest in the vehicle first. This feels very shady, and feels like a bait & switch. The price listed on the website should be the actual price of the vehicle, not $5,000 lower just to draw interest. Very disappointed in this experience, as I was excited to find the exact color that I wanted, only to be made to feel like I was being ripped off. The one nice thing I can say is that my correspondence with the dealership was quick and semi-helpful. While little extra information was offered on their part, direct responses to my questions were given quickly. Honestly, I have no issues with any of the staff at the location - my complaint could be rectified with more honest website pricing. More
