I purchased a vehicle over the phone a few days in advanced while I was out of town. I was told to be there no later than 5pm for pick up. I showed up on time, then waited about 40 minutes to do paper advanced while I was out of town. I was told to be there no later than 5pm for pick up. I showed up on time, then waited about 40 minutes to do paperwork. Doing the paperwork with the sales manager Amir was great, no complaints there. When it came time to delivery, Kyle was all over the place, and had mis informed me of options on the vehicle. Not only that, his excuse was the deal was “dropped on his desk”… I made the deal days in advance and it was very unprofessional to say that. There was not even an ounce of a tutorial or even a basic showing of any features. In fact, it wasn’t even offered…It was a see the car, see the keys, see you later. He didn’t even give us a business card, or follow up to see how the first drive went… that is Sales 101. There was zero effort in building and wanting to maintain a relationship. I also have tried contacting him regarding carpet mats he promised on the delivery day for our new car and he has not responded. The car is great, the purchasing over the phone went smooth (I spoke with Harry for all decision making), the delivery was a total disaster and true disappointment to the experience. More

Highly recommend Prestige VW of Stamford!! My one fear about buying direct from a dealership was the typical 'sales pressure' that I've heard from others about buying a new car. Now I feel silly for waiting so long, because Prestige VW was terrific from start to finish. Taft was amazing, zero pressure but provided just the right amount of helpful support and guidance to us. I test drove two cars and he was super patient while I made my decision. He went above and beyond to get to the 2nd car that I wanted to test drive since it was in exactly the color that I wanted to purchase. Everyone in the dealership was fantastic I interacted with (Front Desk/Sales Reception, Harry and Amir!) and this process, which I had been dreading, could not have exceeded my expectations more - and that was because of the team at Prestige VW. On a trip from Virginia to Cape Cod, we began to have engine trouble on I-95. We called ahead to Prestige, the closest VW dealership.
