My interest was attracted by the Preston Kia TV ads, which didn't contain ear-splitting circus masters. (The impression was of a family that watches their own ads). When I arrived for my appointment (again "Diana," Nice People) sales help on Labor Day Friday was a problem, which the Sales Manager solved quickly by drafting a sales member from the Chevy department, DEVIN LINDSEY, whose face struck me (age 90) as a high-schooler (Sorry, Devin), but he rapidly showed me the level of maturity, knowledge and experience that he had. He spent long "minutes" patiently laying out answers to financial options of sale-or-lease, new-or-pre's, etc. without pressure, & with emphasis only on common sense. His biggest obstacle was moving my attitude from prelims to "time-now" thinking. He had me test-drive a new Forte and the subject 2020 Optima, with instant detail on all features & reactions, All in all , very impressive, & although I begrudge the final financial effect the 2022 economy caused me, I am still smiling over what I drove off with. All of the above may really be a layman's view of textbook salesmanship in action, but DEVIN made me a fan, & my view of his future is very optimistic, an asset to your Dealership, with gratitude. More
