This was my first time being in this dealer and my experience was excellent. This is not the first time that I buy a new vehicle but it was the first time I was treated like this. He answered all my questions and he's the best. If sometime I need to go back I will ask for him always. He always has a smile on his face and that is something nice. He never tried to force me to buy a car and that is something that I really appreciated of him. I bought the car for everything that he told me about it but not because I felt pressured to buy it. He knows a lot about all models that Toyota has. I think he knows how to do his work because he's well prepared to answer all the questions that his customers have. My girlfriend and I went into this dealership with a laundry list of options/features for the Toyota Tacoma Prerunner and ready to buy! We were greeted by Salesman Sean Sahrai, who we found approachable and very knowledgeable. His non-aggressive mannerism made our experience extremely pleasant. He wrote up the offer with the price we were willing to pay. He excused himself and presented it to the sales manager and of course he countered. After a brief back and forth, Mr. Sahrai introduced us to Sales Manager Scott Peterson. Surprisingly, he was able to negotiate the deal to our satisfaction and set up arrangements to bring the vehicle that he had found at another dealership. The next day we came in to view the vehicle based on the agreement negotiated the night before, Scott Peterson and Derek Bates assisted us and were very personable and helpful. After viewing the vehicle, which met our strict specifications, it was purchased. We have since received follow up calls from the staff concerning the vehicle and their service. I am very happy with the customer service I received during my purchase experience at this dealership. I would recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from Puente Hills Toyota. I was in the market for a new Scion and pretty much knew what I wanted, but I was terrified to go into the dealership because of past experiences that still give me nightmares (at Puente Hills Ford by the w what I wanted, but I was terrified to go into the dealership because of past experiences that still give me nightmares (at Puente Hills Ford by the way). I got in touch with Greg Kern via the Scion website just to ask if they still had a car in stock and he ended up taking care of everything! When the car I was looking at was sold he made sure to find another one and stayed after hours until it was delivered. When that one had a huge scratch he offered to pick up another one in San Diego for me so I could have it the next day. Everything about this buying experience has made me completely redefine the idea of car salesman/dealership in my mind. Greg was always VERY upfront with everything, never once tried to BS anything, and did everything he could to help me find the best deal with what I wanted. I never felt like I was being pushed into anything. After everything was signed and the car was mine, Greg gave me his cell phone and personal e-mail address just in case I needed anything, even though he is going to be on vacation. Talk about dedication! If you're looking for the BEST costumer service you will ever experience I would recommend this dealer, and Greg in particular. I've already given his number to my entire family and will continue to recommend him to anyone who will listen. The car is great too by the way, LOVE IT! More

Greg Kern, the fleet manager, and I had exchanged emails about a car I was interested in purchasing. Five days later, on the day I decided to buy a car, he was actually out of the office on his day off, bu about a car I was interested in purchasing. Five days later, on the day I decided to buy a car, he was actually out of the office on his day off, but still answered the phone and took my call (despite my being a stranger to him). When I mentioned I was interested in buying the same car in a different color, even though he was on his day off, he called one of his staff, Ray Alvarez, to follow-up with me. Within 20 minutes, Ray had called me to follow up on the specific details of the car I wished to purchase, and told me that there was only ONE car in all of Southern California with those specifications. I knew this to be true from talking to another dealer in another city, but I wanted to work with Greg as he had quoted me the best price for this particular vehicle out of the 10 Toyota dealers in Los Angeles County. While I was talking to Ray, and he confirmed his willingness to drive to Hemet to get this car for me and bring it back to Puente Hills / City of Industry, Greg called me to make certain I was being taken care of by his staff. I asked Greg if he would be willing to honor the price he had quoted me for the car that was on his lot for the one his staff would have to travel to/from Hemet for - AND HE DID. I know he could have attempted to charge extra given the hassle for he and his staff, but he didn't. That to me, is great management and customer service. Ray, the staff person who drove to get the vehicle in Hemet, was also exceedingly helpful. He made sure all paperwork was taken care of smoothly, and also had the car washed and polished from the drive so it was in perfect condition before I left the lot that night. He also made certain to review all the technical specs of the car and called the next day to follow-up to make certain I was completely satisfied with my experience. Finally, most of us know that dealing with the finance department is the hardest and most frustrating part of the car-buying experience. However, Ken, our finance person, was straightforward and helpful in working to meet our loan requirements and specifications. I cannot say enough good things about working with Puente Hills Toyota in purchasing a car. If you prepare beforehand, and know what you need, they will work with you to meet those needs. More
Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy. Price was very competitive with other dealers.
