SEE RON LANDIN FOR A STRESS FREE BUYING EXPERIENCE ! On Saturday,march 9th, I seen several vehicles online and made an inquiry if they were still available...Ron Landin quickly responded as did the c On Saturday,march 9th, I seen several vehicles online and made an inquiry if they were still available...Ron Landin quickly responded as did the charming assistant, miss Jamie llamas, whom set up an appointment for the following Monday. I had reservations about going in because I had seen it as a most stressful situation ,but I kept my appointment . I went to the reception desk where two super friendly young ladies were working and they paged Ron Landin...we did the customary introduction and handshake and I gave him the computer printouts of the three I wanted to look at and he pulled the keys ..i got into one, but test drove the one that was closer to my budget.. during the test drive I asked Mr. Landin not to add on things like other dealers do, such as, nitrogen filled tires...etched vin numbers on the windshield....door guards....and super duper paint protecting coatings... and in return,i did not attempt to wheel and deal on the already reasonably priced unit.. Ron filled out the initial application, ran my credit score and thankfully because of the substantial down and a good credit score, I did not have to produce any financial's. I then waited for a while as the knowledgeable finance director Kenny Chan prepared the paper work. Then Kenny had me sign papers and take my down payment .. while this was gong on, Ron Landin took the car in the back,filled the tank and had it detailed. Then I was met with the delightful and outgoing miss Jamie llamas ..we talked for a bit and then she drove my new car home, with Ron Landin driving behind her and I behind them in my other vehicle. So with first class presidential treatment, Puente Hills Toyota, Ron Landin and Jamie,delivered to my door , a low mileage , certified pre owned, 2016 corolla le , financed through the Toyota motor corporation at 3.9 percent for 60 months with a monthly payment of $85.00 ...just perfect for an old retired fool such as myself ? SERVICE DEPARTMENT REVIEW RUDE AND INPATIENT If they tell you Raymond Chun Yan Shea is your service adviser, run as far away as you can. I had good experience with other service adviser, This guy If they tell you Raymond Chun Yan Shea is your service adviser, run as far away as you can. I had good experience with other service adviser, This guy is not and is one rude human being, no help at all if you want to know what is needed for my vehicle. Told me to spend $150 to run the code, when I told him about the complimentary inspection, he reluctantly OK'ed. While I was waiting, I saw he treats other customer the same way and appeared to be very impatient. Not sure why he has such a bad day and treat us customer this lousy? Stay away from Raymond if you visit Puente Hills Toyota and want to have a good rest of your day, and looking for good sound advise on your vehicle. I hope the company sees this review and take a look at his attitude, but I think even if he is off to another dealerships, the guy will do the same there and treat customer the same rude way. It's a character thing. Update: They didn't do the complimentary inspection as I suspected when I left my vehicle, I didn't get the usual inspection pages. He didn't call me to tell me my vehicle is ready until I called. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't get a call until they close. I went straight to cashier bypass the usual service technician going over my vehicle needs. Not sure if he was upset that day or if all customer went through him has to keep following up about the status of their vehicle. I will take my 30,000 miles service and new brakes to another dealer in OC near my work. Didn't feel like going back to ruin my day interacting with this human being. More
