No follow-up, took 5 months to find solution for repair I purchased my 2017 Prius Prime in May 2017. I came in for a 10k mile service in November 2017. I made it aware to the service employee that my USB po I purchased my 2017 Prius Prime in May 2017. I came in for a 10k mile service in November 2017. I made it aware to the service employee that my USB port was not working. The USB port connection was defective; it would connect and discount very rapidly causing the entire media system to shut down. During this routine maintenance service, a technician inspected the USB port and agreed it was defective. I was told that the dealership didn't know how to handle the repair, and would need to advise with Toyota. Each month after, no one ever followed-up with me on the current status. I would have to reach out to the service department to see what is going on, which I had to do several times. Each time I spoke to someone, they just kept telling me that they are still waiting on Toyota to respond on how to proceed with the repair. Finally, sometime in January/February, I called to follow-up and was told that a part was being ordered. When I came in for my 15k mile routine service, I asked if they could check on the order to see if the part arrived and if I could get it fixed then and there. I was told the part had arrived (again, no one ever followed-up with me to let me know), but the technician was not on site and that I'd have to come back to get it fixed. The day before I planned my visit, I called to ensure that the part was there. I again was told the same thing, "We are still waiting on Toyota to advise us on how to proceed". Finally, I was transferred to a service manager and she explained that they still needed to run diagnostic tests, which caused me to be very frustrated, upset, and confused. At this point, I am being told so many different things that I can't even keep up. Long story short, in the end, I waited 5 months for Toyota to just "update the software". I put about 20k miles a year on my car, meaning I use the vehicle a lot, so I am paying for a feature of the car that doesn't even work. I don't care how minuscule of a feature it is, or that it isn't a mechanical defect, but the principal behind 1. customer service/following-up and 2. providing the correct repair/service in a timely manner are the reasons as to the overall rating I am giving, which Puente Hills Toyota miserably failed at during my experience. More

Great experience and great customer service! So my family of 5 was in need of a family car/crossover. We were stuck on a highlander and we were so glad that we stuck with our intuition. We ended up getting the Toyota Highlander se (sport edition.) It really is such a beautiful vehicle There's so many perks to this highlander, the leather seats, sun roof, seats 7 passengers (with captain seats), pearl white paint, the smooth drive, the long dash console..... the list goes on and on Aside from all the great things that the Highlander is capable of, we were also very impressed by the way were treated and the customer service. Sean was so helpful and considerate throughout the whole process The last thing a person needs is to deal with some pushy, rude, salesman and Sean was the complete opposite of someone who was burnt out, and rude. He constantly made sure that both my family and myself were comfortable throughout the whole paperwork process Sean even brought us some hot tea at one point hehe. He never made us feel pressured into buying our highlander or pushed us out of our comfort zone. He was relaxed, and easy going and it just made the whole experience great So thank you again Sean for all of your help and support! Once it came down to the finance portion Ted was helping us out and it was late at this point (it was around 10:30 pm) and even though I'm sure he was tired he still managed to go over everything professionally and we even exchanged jokes along the way We also upgraded to some perks with coverage like door dings, chipped windshield, nails in a tire, and key replacement. Talk about a killer deal. Ted's commitment is the best of the BEST! A few days later I came back to Toyota just to sign one paper and I was helped by Kim. Although I probably only spent about 5 minutes with her, she was very bubbly, happy, and eager to help with the paperwork. So I greatly appreciated her effort and attitude! Big plus! Toyota is honestly such a great company. We have had different Toyota vehicles in the past and as long as you maintain them you won't have many problems. Therefore a great product, plus a great team, plus a great experience, equals a Toyota customer for life!!!!!!! Thank you again Sean, Ted, & Kim!!!! :) More
