BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT BUY ONLINE and Do Take To Independent Shop For Overall Mechanical Inspection First... I purchased a 2010 LS460 Lexus High Mileage but appeared nice in the photo and from what Independent Shop For Overall Mechanical Inspection First... I purchased a 2010 LS460 Lexus High Mileage but appeared nice in the photo and from what was described. To be clear, I flew in and picked the car up, it was an online deal. I will admit, some fault on my part, like not understanding ‘Vehicle Has Been Inspected’, you'll even sign a paper for this, be very careful tho because it's not what it appears. The dealership doesn't inspect it, it's just the State of Arizona inspection. Pretty much all that happens with these cars is New Tires and it's a gamble from there. So, since my purchase, I've had to fix 3 bent rims (we thought the tires were just out of balance), we found the motor mount is shot, front shocks need to be replaced, replaced blower motor, half the dash lights are out, replaced the battery (left us stranded), noise from front end has popped up, sounds like a grinding sound at times from wheels or trans and so on. I get it, it's a high milage car, but these cars are meant to last a long time. This should have been a $7,000 car MAX - not overpriced as it was. So, I learned my lesson, these dealerships are just slapping new tires on their stuff and rolling them out... When the GM called me back he said “You signed the paper that said the vehicle was inspected, it's your misunderstanding”... After $5k plus, trust me, I understand and it will never happen again. Doing the purchased remotely via phone and the web went well. After the vehicle was reserved the pictures and vehicle description no longer appeared on the dealer web site. I chatted with someone from the dealership and asked for the photos. She said she would contact a salesperson and have them emailed to me. That never happened. Also, after setting up an account with the dealership I could never log in. It said that a verification code was emailed to me but never came after several tries. Very disappointing since I am paying $20,000 for the vehicle. In view of this, I cannot recommend this dealer to anyone. If they fix their problems, then I could change my rating. More
