From now on it will feel like betrayal to go anywhere else! Friendly - The ownership and staff were a pleasure to work with! Honest - Gave a great price for our trade in and were very informative and helpful when it came to vehicle add-on’s and warranty options so that we would get the most bang for our buck! Comfortable - People were literally almost falling asleep in the cozy, warm lounge area which also had a fireplace, beverages, and snacks! I have a 3 year old and the children’s play room was well thought out and perfect for occupying our little one as we waited for a short time as our car was detailed. Fair - The first dealership in the area that gave a fair price for our new vehicle without needing to haggle like a sales rep from 1980. Thank you for everything Rafferty’s and Staff! We love our new Ascent! More
Vehicle needed $800 in repairs My salesman was great and I may go back just for him. However, the car I bought had a bad vibration and it turns out the wheels weren’t balanced at the dealership. Had to spend 800$ on diagnosis, alignment, lugnut replacement and removal of damaged lugnuts. Called about it and they weren’t interested in helping. Buyer beware- they don’t care about selling you cars with problems they never should have had. Seriously, who doesn’t balance wheels when they put tires on? More

Right from the start when we walked into the dealership the staff was very friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Marty, my salesmen, was very well informed about my car and was able to answer all of my questions. Ironically, Marty sold my dad another Subaru a few years back. Talk about a family business. He immediately recognized my dad even though they had done business together years ago. I loved my car at first sight and Marty and his team including his manager Steve helped to Negotiate a price that worked for everyone. You can really tell the staff likes working at Rafferty just by being there and seeing them interact with each other and the customers. I could not be more happy with my purchase and with my experience! More

Inaccurate Sales Agreement We received an inaccurate sales agreement. At the time of purchase we ended up having to pay additional fees. The finance representative said this w We received an inaccurate sales agreement. At the time of purchase we ended up having to pay additional fees. The finance representative said this was due to the tags and title being "underestimated". However, this was actually due to miscellaneous fees that were not itemized or disclosed on the original sales agreement; document fee, lien fee, carrier fee, etc. Also, the itemized cost of the title and registration that the finance representative provided over the phone were different than what is on the NJ MVS receipt and the sales tax charged was also slightly higher. The dealer also sent an internet offer with a Limited-Time Discount that expired the day the offer was sent. We lost out on taking full advantage of this discount since we did not have enough time to respond to this offer. We love the Outback and were happy with the original offer however the final buying experience left a lot to be desired. More

Rafferty Subaru Was a Pleasure to Work With We spent about three months contemplating the purchase of a Subaru Ascent. When we finally decided to make the purchase, we narrowed down our focus to We spent about three months contemplating the purchase of a Subaru Ascent. When we finally decided to make the purchase, we narrowed down our focus to a few dealerships that had the model we were looking for in stock. We checked in on price and availability online and Rafferty's internet department answered our inquiries quickly with the information we needed. In the end, Rafferty gave us the best deal for the Ascent and also for our trade. We worked with Dave Maida as our salesperson. He was incredibly responsive and made the buying process easy for us. We agreed to purchase the vehicle on a Friday evening but it was getting late and our three kids were tired. Dave made an appointment for us to come back the next day and told us everything would be ready to go. When we came back on Saturday, we were able to finalize the process quickly and we were on our way in our new Subaru. We are really happy with the Ascent and with Dave as our salesperson. We would highly recommend going to see him and the team at Rafferty Subaru! More
