To get an idea of the pricing for the car, I filled out a form online that got quotes from five local dealers. Little did I know, this also gave my contact information to five local dealers... I got emails and phone calls from all of them. My interactions with Rafferty Subaru were consistently the best. My only other experience in buying a new car was ten years ago, and it is a lot different now! Back then I haggled for three hours to get a price I was comfortable with, and then financing was another two hours of back and forth. This time I had a real price in hand when I walked into the dealer. Rafferty's price for the car was about $300 more expensive than the cheapest I could find, but Rafferty offered a lifetime powertrain warranty, which, along with how friendly and helpful Jennifer was over the phone, tipped the scales. During the buying process we did not feel rushed or pressured. I do my homework and know what I am talking about, and was prepared for something of a battle. In the end I didn't feel like I was getting pushed toward extras and add-ons any harder than I knew the sales staff were required to push. When we declined most of these extras, Owen just moved right along. Tom in financing was a no-BS guy, took care of business, cracked a few good jokes, and had us out of there in time for dinner. I can't think of a negative thing to say. I look forward to seeing the staff there again for our first oil change. Give all these people a raise! More

Low key and knowledgeable staff make a great experience I was in the market for a new car, more specifically a WRX. Thankfully I ran into Jen. As a WRX owner herself she was a wealth of knowledge and ever I was in the market for a new car, more specifically a WRX. Thankfully I ran into Jen. As a WRX owner herself she was a wealth of knowledge and every question or concern was promptly and directly answered. Jen's friendliness, deep knowledge, and low key/casual/no pressure attitude was really refreshing after being a customer of several high pressure Chester County area dealerships. Jim McDonald in the finance department was fast and efficient without sacrificing quality and a personal touch. He answered multiple questions without hesitation and was eager to explain every document put in front of me. Overall this was a rather surprising car buying experience because of these four things: -I received a fair trade-in value for my used vehicle -I found the exact color and trim level I was in the market for and there was no upselling to be found -I received an honest price for a new car -The staff was friendly, open, and efficient 10/10 I'll be back.
