The service department is efficient, effective and friendly. They kept me apprised of the progress. Lease price was negotiated with Victor. And Victor was extremely helpful and made it easy to finalize the deal. However, upon signing all of the paperwork it was disclosed by Donovan that Mazda had switch extremely helpful and made it easy to finalize the deal. However, upon signing all of the paperwork it was disclosed by Donovan that Mazda had switched financials from Chase to Toyota, and now the GAP insurance is no longer part of the lease payment, it’s optional with the Toyota bank. With Chase, it was included. I was then presented with an option to buy GAP insurance for $15 per month. This significantly changes the overall cost of the lease. Neither Victor nor Donovan ever mentioned this during the discussion prior to completing and signing of the paperwork. Making a deal I was under the assumption that I am getting the same type of financials as my current lease. This is a low level, dishonest “gotcha” that is brought up after the documents are signed. Very frustrating and discouraging. I’m unlikely to conduct business with this dealership in the future. More
