Terrible experience with Subaru In November 2018, I brought in my wrx that I bought new for a transmission issue, as first gear randomly pops out of gear. The initial work was covere In November 2018, I brought in my wrx that I bought new for a transmission issue, as first gear randomly pops out of gear. The initial work was covered under warranty, but the problem persisted even after they said they "fixed" it. It kept occurring, even though the dealership assured me it wasn't. Brought the car back less than 7k miles later for the SAME issue they "fixed". This time I actually managed to recreate the issue right in front of the service advisor John Kane at Ramsey Subaru. Now they have to fix it right? Leave the dealership with their word they will take care of it for me. Now the next day, after they've already said they will take care of it, John called me to explain I'm likely at fault for abusing the car. He explained that this will mean if they take out the transmission and see signs of abuse the whole job will be out of pocket. Which means they could just open it up. "See the abuse", and then make me fork up over $700 just to reassemble the transmission. It seemed as if they were trying to threaten me with a huge service bill to scare me away so they won't have to honor the warranty as they suspect "abuse" on my part. Service advisor won't get back to me regarding my car which is in their possession. I have reached out to Subaru of America to hopefully resolve this situation, but it seems the dealership is avoiding them as well . Very disappointed with the service and The service advisor has gotten back to me and now claims that the car was "abused". It's very disappointing that I brought in the car for the same issue that they couldn't fix the FIRST time correctly and they try to blame me. I thought I was just dropping my car off to get fixed a transmission issue that they had "fixed" already, but now I'm being hit with a LARGE, unexpected bill. As a long time fan of Subaru, I am very disappointed by how Subaru and Ramsey Subaru treats their customers. I should've learned the first time they couldn't fix the issue. Would never recommend this place to anyone More
