I did my homework going in but to be honest the discount they provided was still bigger and better than anything I could find in state. Alex Petrushin was the sales rep that handled my visit. He was not obtrusive or over the top in scheduling the visit and his demeanor did not change when I came to test drive and view vehicles on the lot. He was personable and knowledgeable about the entire product line. The finance department was wonderful to work with as well. I came with financing prepared however I wanted to see if they could get me a better rate. Sure enough the finance department came through and saved me a hefty chunk of change. I would certainly recommend Ramsey Subaru to anyone looking to buy a vehicle. The piece that truly put the experience over the top was that at the very end of my visit Alex asked me to stop by his office for a gift. He had a better shift knob installed for the manual transmission. This part blew me away. There is no way around the time it takes to purchase a car. You will inevitably spend hours at the dealership waiting for the stars to align. However, the comfort and atmosphere of the dealership was stellar. The staff was friendly, and they definitely went the extra mile to ensure that I will be back in the future. More

So, when the manual clutch on our 2011 Outback died in Mahopac, NY last Saturday afternoon, we didn't know where to turn. Called Subaru Roadside Assistance and they put us in touch with Ramsey Subaru. We spend our winters driving back and forth to Utah and while there, going up and down the mountains almost every day. The clutch has had more than a lifetime of a workout! Ramsey Subaru gave us a loaner car even though we were way out of warranty, did a great job doing the necessary repairs and to boot, did a fabulous detailing job which I requested. The vehicle was in show room condition when I picked it up. Our sincerest thanks go out to this exemplary dealer, all the skilled employees and especially to Howard Cohen our service writer who bent over backwards to please a very demanding customer, me!
