Routine Service went Well Went in to have the first service completed on my Cross Trek. The staff was friendly and responsive to my needs. Unlike other dealers that play games and tricks (guilting, lying, avoiding mention of destination fee and doc fee, tacking on extra stuff you don't need), Clayton was straight up, friendly, welcoming, and well informed. We settled on a price in about two minutes, and it was a price with which I was satisfied. He didn't play any tricks and just sold me the car, making things very easy. The only part of my car buying experience at Ramsey Subaru that was less than excellent was when Cory Fetkowtiz, the finance manager, said he'd run my credit card for a portion of my money down while I was out testing the car with Clayton. When I got home after buying the car, I checked my receipt, and he'd charged me an extra $500. He said he'd forgotten that I'd already put down $500 on my first visit to secure the car. This could have been an honest mistake, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. It's been five days and my credit card has not yet been credited for the $500. Cory said it would take a few business days to show up on my statement. Cory also cracked two jokes about tipping Clayton, which was off-putting and a bit crass. I did attempt to tip Clayton before leaving, and he declined, simply asking for a positive review, which I would have given anyway. If you go to Ramsey Subaru, ask for Clayton. More

My 2009 Outback is running terrible, I just had the clutch replaced. I drive down to Ramsey Subaru and arrive on a Friday at 10:30 to go see Al, my service manager. In thirty minutes the team has found the issue (plugs, wires and coil - 50K miles since my last tune up! It was due). By 1:30 I am back on the road, car runs like a top. No appointments, no hassles simply get er' fixed and get on with my day. If you buy a Subaru (recommended), buy it at Ramsey. You need service, get it done at Ramsey. Great people, great service (Al is aces as far as I am concerned). What else could you want? More
