Did not honor price match I was contacted by Kurt Schoenig at Ramsey Subaru. His initial email indicated that if I found a better price they would beat it by $200. I work right across the street so I went over at lunch. We discussed a particular XV Crosstrek they had in stock. He brought out some paperwork showing the invoice of the car to be about $500 more than what I had researched on the internet. I left and did some additional shopping at other dealers. When I had my best price I forwarded it to Kurt and asked him to beat it by the $200 he said he would, but in the end he did not beat my best deal. Update (5/2014) - Robert Wood from the internet sales department contacted me regarding the above review about their dealership. He was kind enough to provide a $200 service credit to compensate for the lack of their ability to price match on the car itself. Thank you for taking the effort !!! More

Excellent service I first emailed the dealer and asked for a price on a new Forester. I mentioned the specifics that I wanted. Clayton then returned with a price quote for what I wanted. Next I compared price with a couple other dealers. Then I went back to Clayton via email followed by a phone call. We talked and he was very good on the phone - no pressure, no pushing, but just very friendly and provided me with good and useful info. Next he revised his quote and allowed me to have the option of trade-in. Finally, I called him the 2nd time to confirm pricing for the exact car that I was looking for with an appointment to meet him at his dealership on a weekend. All these we did it within 3 days - several emails back and forth plus 2 phone calls. Pretty simple and efficient. I then drove my old car for them to give me an estimate on trade-in value. After that, I signed a contract to order the car which came in about 5-6 weeks later. Closing was pretty smooth and Clayton showed us all the features of the car. All in all, a good transaction with good service and very good price. Definitely recommend them. I would consider going back for a pre-owned car for my daughter soon when she gets her license. More

Long term Subaru relationship We are Subaru owners since 1984 and were treated royally at Ramsey Subaru during our visit April 26, 2014. Our last visit there was to purchase our 2005 Outback and usual maintenance visits to Service. A stress free experience back then. Our recent visit again was wonderful. No high pressure sales.our salesperson Kurt Schoenig was very knowledgeable and encouraged us to take our time, deciding which vehicle and financing was perfect for us. I changed my mind multiple times. He listened to our needs and concerns, responded with comforting complete satisfaction to us. Kurt gave me the full blown tour of my new vehicle at time of pick up. Hooked up Bluetooth and a few radio stations. Even meeting with the finance people was stress free. We had visited other Subaru dealers and they all failed miserably within 20 minutes to "embrace" our needs. So we took the long drive to Ramsey and a long time relationship was cemented. As we all know car shopping is a miserable experience. I recommend not only Ramsey Subaru to everyone, purchasing a Subaru, and asking for Kurt Schoenig. More
