Sales and finance personnel were fine, friendly, knowledgeable. We had a good experience with both sales and finance. My issue was with the service department who detailed my Volvo 2009 C70 car. I had asked Stan at time of purchase about dings on car as well as chipped paint on edge of door, He assured me that the car would be "perfect" after it was prepped. At delivery, the dings were still there and the chipped paint had a cover up paint job that looked like a kid did it and was awful. When asked why, Stan said that if they tried to paint the dings, they would look like blobs of paint. Very different answer than when we were buying the car. Maybe you can send me a small bottle of Celestial blue paint so I can fix it myself. My last Volvo was purchased brand new. When it got a ding in the first few months, I took it to the dealership, Secor Volvo fixed it so the paint looked perfect. So I know it is do-able and am not sure why that could not have been done for this car. Also, when we got home with the car, we put the roof down. The "black boot" was filthy, full of a very thick black soot as well as the top of the front window. The top of the actual glass windows had black marks on them. The back seat was also spotted and dirty. The contract we signed included a cost of $499 for prepping of which $150 was detailing. I do not feel this car was properly detailed, certainly not $150 worth. Volvo service departments that I have dealt with in the past put quality as a #1 priority. This is obviously not a priority for Ramsey Volvo. More

T leased a 2009 Volvo C70 Convertable at Ramey Volvo [n May 2009 at what I consider a fair price. The salesman Gary worked with me to arrive at a payment I had in mind when I went to the dealership. I was May 2009 at what I consider a fair price. The salesman Gary worked with me to arrive at a payment I had in mind when I went to the dealership. I was recommended to go to this dealership by my daugher who had bought 2 cars there and was very satisfied with the way she was treated by sales and service. I recently had my car serviced while I waited. Everyone was professional and even washed the car before they returned to me. I would recommed this Dealership highly both for sales and service. More
I’m writing to register with you my great disappointment with Ramsey Volvo. We have been Volvo customers for 2 years, having first leased an XC70 from Kundert Volvo. That car was loaded with BLIS, Naviga with Ramsey Volvo. We have been Volvo customers for 2 years, having first leased an XC70 from Kundert Volvo. That car was loaded with BLIS, Navigation system, Premium, Collision Avoidance, Convenience and Climate packages. When the lease ran out, we chose to buy a new XC70, deciding to not pay extra for some of these features. We turned to Ramsey Volvo, where General Sales Manager Frank Benedict sold us our car. At the time, the car with the Park Assist feature (part of the Convenience package), which we wanted to have, was not available. He suggested that rather than paying for the $1,200 Volvo Park Assist, he could install a similar system, which was “exactly the same but twice as cheap”. Mr. Benedict explained that this was not a genuine Volvo feature, but repeated that “it is exactly the same as Volvo.” Answering our questions about such big price difference, he added that the only difference is that sensors are black, not metallic. We were happy that we could pay less for the “exactly the same” feature and we made a deal with Mr. Benedict for the new vehicle. A week later the vehicle was delivered with paperwork signed by Stan Rosen. Unfortunately when we started using the new vehicle we realized that the Park Assist feature was far from “the same as Volvo” as Mr. Benedict promised: (1) It only had a rear function (instead of front and rear as we were led to believe) (2) The rear Park Assist had only 2 censors, instead of the 4 as on our previous vehicle (3) The system did not work as it was supposed to. In addition it did not integrate with display on the control panel, did not have on/off switch and was only engaging while backing up - all this was far from “the same as Volvo”, but these features we were considering as minor and didn’t discuss. When we addressed our concerns later to Mr. Rosen, he could not answer our questions and referred us back to Mr. Benedict, who actually made a deal with us and was anything but helpful. When I tried to tell him that the system he sold me was nothing like what he promised, he brusquely replied that “All cars coming from factory have only rear Park Assist” (does he know what he sells?) and did not want to hear me out when I explained that my previous vehicle had both a front and rear Park Assist. In a follow up conversation with Mr. Benedict, when I again tried to explain that his Park Assist system had only 2 sensors, rather than the full 4, Mr. Benedict was very aggressive and defensive. He showed no desire to hear what I was saying and continuously interrupted me with the phrase, “you wanted a cheaper one and this is what you got”. I have never before heard that kind of tone from anyone working with customers, especially from sales manager with 28 years in business, as he once mentioned. While I had the car in the shop to fix the system, I spoke with Service Manager Ken Goss, who was polite and professional. He explained that all decisions were made by the sales staff, meaning that I came full circle, back to Mr. Benedict. In the end, I felt that I was lied to and treated very poorly. I also had no use for the half-baked Park Assist, which I ended up with. When I inquired about removing it altogether, Mr. Goss told me that it would cost me $500 to do so, meaning that I would be refunded $100 out of $600 I already spent on the system. In summary, I am surprised and disappointed by the treatment that I received at Ramsey Volvo - not only the dishonest and rude treatment from Mr. Benedict, but also a lack of any way to remove the Park Assist without a penalty. This whole saga left me feeling like I made a big mistake doing any business with Ramsey Volvo. I came to Ramsey Volvo willing to pay for what I like but ended up with the system I don’t like and don’t want. More

Service and parts departments are top notch. Always quick and friendly. Scheduling is a breeze. Parts stock and pricing are also very good, usually as good or better than other dealerships in the area. Servi and friendly. Scheduling is a breeze.
