Volvo claims to have clients’ safety as a priority. However, when waiting 1 1/2 hrs for an annual service check in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, I had to drag a chair outside the building myself. No employee thought to set up a seating area outdoors to protect customers — and there were plenty of customers inside! Also, why is the service advisor asking me, “What can I do for you today?” The appointment was booked for a specific reason. In addition, he quoted me a price without checking the car’s VIN# — the service visit was covered under warranty! He would have happily taken my money. The service advisors should be trained to do their homework. It shouldn’t be up to me to to ensure that I get the appropriate service for the correct price. More
