This was a routine oil change and as always Riata takes great care of my truck. A week earlier, I made my appointment with JD for 9 AM. Arrived about 5 - 10 minutes before my appointment and in less than a great care of my truck. A week earlier, I made my appointment with JD for 9 AM. I’m a 74 yr old woman. I was not satisfied with the manner I was treated or the explanations given. I received a recall on the flex plate and was told I had to pay $200 for I was not satisfied with the manner I was treated or the explanations given. I received a recall on the flex plate and was told I had to pay $200 for them to do a check to confirm flex plate broken or not! I was surprised but agreed cause I don’t want to drive a car with a broken flex plate. I left my car there and was called back the next day saying nothing wrong with my car. According to them, they performed a diagnostic test and found my car was fine. They said if in the future I had problems, the flex plate was still covered! I was not charged the $200 so I am confused and still wondering if they did check my car. One guy there told me he could just drive the car and tell me if the flex plate was broken or not. Ford can fix an one day my car, they want to take 2 or more weeks. But before tan at they take 1 week to figure it out what was the problem on my car. First visit to the service center ended up with nothing being done in over a week and when I had to pick up my vehicle because there were no loaners, the service manager told the receptionist to just mark being done in over a week and when I had to pick up my vehicle because there were no loaners, the service manager told the receptionist to just mark the ticket, customer doesn't want it fixed. I spoke to the GM which was very nice and scheduled me to come back in a week or so. He personally gave me updates and told me when my vehicle was ready. The alignment was done, but I never got the print out with the specs (second ask), the tires were balanced - but the truck vibrated worse than it did previously (ended up paying discount tire 103.00 to rebalance them), I had four concerns. 1. Cowl Panel loose at antenna (Told that was normal), 2. Front Camber looks off as the tires are leaned in (Told Toe was out by 1 deg), 3. Vibration between 62Mph and 70 - (Balanced wheels (Weights put on opposite of one another on the wheel and scratched my wheels on the inside plus left the residue from the previous weights) and 4. Need a Oil Change (Completed). The Sales Team is and was awesome, the service team just doesn't care and it would appear that is leadership down. My advisor seemed nice however, just the culture at the service department seems to be missing "Service" from the equation. I highly recommend the Sales Team and Finance Team. P.S. on Service: I also asked that my Truck be detailed as they parked it out in a field for the week it was there previously and got mud on it - that wasn't done either. :) More

I purchased my new vehicle from there two years ago. I’ve only taken it to Riata for service. It’s very disappointing that every time I do there’s an issue. My latest problem was I took my vehicle there for you all change and tire rotation. Unfortunately the rotation did not happen. I took it back a few days later only for them to tell me that I needed three new tires because it hadn’t been rotated. When I trust him to handle all of this for me. More
