When discerning the value of a used vehicle, our web site offers customers a system which draws actual, real-time data from multiple sources from across our area, the region, and nationally, to provide a trade value which is designed to be a fair representation of actual market value. This system will generate wholesale, and retail prices for a given vehicle, based on that vehicle's information as it is inputted into the system. It is an approximation tool, offered for convenience of research on-line. When a vehicle is at our store, and being evaluated in person, there can be differences between the real world evaluation pricing and on-line estimate pricing for many reasons, and it appears we did not clearly explain why there was such a difference with your trade-in. If you like, we will research the value further, and convey the result more clearly, to make certain no stone was left unturned. Disrespect responded

I understand the demographics of pricing and yet a $22000 difference is absolutely absurd and is deemed as unethical. My vehicle is actually in better shape than the inputs of your system would allow and yet on the phone it dropped an enormous amout. I as well own a company and feel this is egregious and would never do that to a customer. I would honor my own system !! But that's the difference in quality and ethics versus scamming your customers. I will share this and the price variance with all my clients and customers to aide them in avoiding this atrocity. Thank you for the response even though it is all smoke and mirrors
