Can a manager tell to a customer, “I don’t care what the seller told you at the moment of the purchase”, ” it is your problem”, “you were here last week and you know what it is so do not bother”, and everything told in a rude and aggressive manner? Cam a manager quote the same trade in $9000 and next week $5000? Last week I and my wife wanted to buy a new car and trade in our used Hyundai. We met at the dealer with the seller who previous contacted the manager to quoted the trade in $9000. Today, we were at the dealer to close the numbers for the purchase of the SAME Hyundai (2016 Elantra) and the same manager quoted the trade in in $5000. Also, last week I found out that the Hyundai with 30000 miles that I bought two months ago only has 70 000 miles warranty left not 100 000 as stated from the seller when I specially inquired him about this matter at the moment of the purchase.
