Well I am back in NY and it appears that my transmission is going. Driving back from delivery of the car noticed tranmission slipage and then a boom shifting from first to second. Took car to Naples Hyundai to check out. They noticed the problem however no codes so they reset the learn mode to relearn how the car is drivin. Headed back to NY and noticed excessive transmisison slipage from 1 to 2 shifts and from 3 to 4 gear shifts with a boom once engaged. Stopped off at Colonial Hyundai in Richmond, VA on the way back to NY. Eventhough it was Friday 2PM they understood my delema and squeezed me in to service. Yes, it appears that the tranmission has a problem. Now I am back in NY and trying to find out what warrantee company Rick Case Hyundai uses since the warrentee sheet provided in my delivery package has no contact information on it for a mechanic to contact in case of a break down. Message to the Used Car Manager since the service writer could not answer my contact question. Have an appointment with Healy Hyundai in Goshen, NY tomorrow. Note this is my fourth Hyundai!! 2007 Azera, 2010 Genesis sedan, 2013 Genisis Coupe now 2014 Hyundai Equus.
