I will not do this. Colin Lord, your service manager, just sent me an e-mail saying how busy you guys were, and that I should have made an appointment, and he hopes I say healthy during this troubling times. To which I would like to say: xxx??? So let me again say, for your benefit and anyone who is on the fence about going to your dealership for service: 1) I could not make an appointment to have my car service because it failed on Labor day. So I did the best in this circumstance: I got at your dealership 10 minutes before opening and was first in line. I cannot see how even if I had an appointment this would have made any difference in terms of the horrible service I received. (So Colin, knock off this "you should have made an appointment" nonsense.) 2) Both Colin and his underling (Ernest Bynes) both said the failure with my window was a common problem with Hyundais, at least with my model. IMHO, it is then inexcusable for the dealership not to have the part in stock. And at no time did Colin say "hmm..., this is wrong. Let me call the guy responsible and make sure this never happens again.". So Rick Case Hyundai seems happy for the problem to reoccur. 3) Ernest Bynes did not check on the availability of the part until TWO HOURS had passed, this despite me sitting perhaps 10-15 feet in front of him. He simply did not think of my situation. So much for "being treated like his best friend". In his e-mail Colin excused because "they were so busy". ... how in the heck do you think saying this makes me feel??? 4) Ernest Bynes later did not check that my repair work had started. It was only when I alerted him over an hour later did he do a xxxx thing. So Ernest if you can read this, I don't want you to treat me as your best friend because you'd make for lousy friend. So General Manager Fares Abaualown, here is my advice: 1) Tell Colin to come up with much better excuses for the terrible service you provide. Saying "I should have had an appointment" and "we were very busy!" is downright insulting. 2) Tell the person in charge of keeping replacements for frequently failed parts to do a better job. Ultimately it is this person's fault for me not getting prompt service. 3) As for Mr. Bynes, consider giving him the opportunity to work for one of your competitors. It is bound to improve your business. Colin knows who I am. I am sure he will give you a "fair and balanced" account of what happened. [PLEASE EVERYONE, AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS!!!]
