He followed up whenever new inventory came in, checking in every few weeks with us. We ended up finding the perfect car at a great price. Otto was efficient and quick and had us in and out in 2 hours (one of the easiest experience I've had purchasing from a dealer. Thank you Otto! - Rampersad family More

BEWARE THIS DEALER KIA NIRO Hybrid 12v battery failed under warranty. (pn 37507-G2120) This dealer REFUSED to honor warranty bc of NATIONAL BACKORDER OF REPLACEMENT BATTERY. I Was told by Service Mana under warranty. (pn 37507-G2120) This dealer REFUSED to honor warranty bc of NATIONAL BACKORDER OF REPLACEMENT BATTERY. I Was told by Service Manager “Joe” “TO GET MY CAR OFF THEIR LOT” and threatened to “LIEN” my car for storage charges. Further, they refused to order the battery to secure my place in the backorder lineup. Now I’ll be charging storage at my yard of $35/day for the first 10 days, And $100/day thereafter for storage and having to look at a USELESS CAR ! Car rental and excess fuel is additional !! I went from 58 mpg to 9 mpg and drive 30k-50k per year ! More

Last November, I had gotten into a car accident and my Forte was totaled. A month later, I purchased a Kia K5 from Rick Case Kia. I still had about $2600 leftover from my Forte that I needed to pay off. W Forte was totaled. A month later, I purchased a Kia K5 from Rick Case Kia. I still had about $2600 leftover from my Forte that I needed to pay off. When I bought my K5, I had negotiated with my salesperson (Ezequiel and Caner), that they would pay off my remainder balance of that vehicle. Ezequiel had assured me that there would be nothing I needed to do on my end to make sure the balance was closed. Fast forward to January, I had to come in to get my title transfer paper work. I was still getting letters in the mail about the Forte, so I had asked my financial manager one time if the account was closed. She advised me that on her end, it was still open and to talk to my salesperson about my deal. I saw Ezequiel as I was leaving and he told me the account should’ve been closed by now. He gave me his number and told me that he’d take a look at it. Two days later, I texted him again to ask him if the account was closed, still no response. I tried calling him too, but he never picked up. That month, I had stopped receiving notices about the Forte and since I was still doing physical therapy 3 times a week, I had let it slide for a bit. In the beginning of March, I text him again and ask him if the account was closed. This time, he texts me back and says that it should be closed by now and will double check. A few days later, I get this lovely notice in the mail that the Forte is about to be in default. So immediately, I text Ezequiel again (surprise surprise, he’s doesn’t text back), and I’m already preparing to come back to the dealership. I’m back in the dealership and I speak to one of the financial managers who tells me that the account is not only still open, but there’s no indication in the system that the deal was ever present. He brings Ezequiel in who now acts confused about the deal entirely like it’s the first he’s ever heard of it. I bring out the messages he sent me about how the account should be closed and he was going to double check. His response was that he didn’t know who he was talking to because he sells so many cars in a month. At this point, I’m stuck with the balance on the Forte. Me paying it off isn’t an issue, it’s the lies that Ezequiel went through for months, just to sell a car. If you weren’t going to follow through on your end of the deal, why didn’t you even have the decency to let me know after I asked numerous times in a span of 2 months about the Forte account? I can’t even be mad at everyone who told me that they couldn’t see the account was supposed to be closed on their end. I’m going to be mad at Ezequiel who not only failed to do a critical part of his job, but also has a habit of telling his customers he’s going to verify something without even knowing who he’s talking too. We all know that dealerships use seedy ways to sell cars for a lot more then they’re worth. But having to deal with someone who’s the very definition of a slimy salesperson that doesn’t care about the repercussions of his actions just to get a deal, is easily the worst car experience I’ve ever had. If you have to get a car from Rick Case Kia, make sure you avoid Ezequiel at all costs. More
