Purchased a corvette, was erroneously charged 10. 16% Highway Use Tax. I asked for a numerical breakdown of how they calculated the Highway Use Tax - they failed to do so! After several attempts to get dealership to acknowledge the error - they did, and refunded the difference to the finance company. I asked for a corrected vehicle buyers order to reflect the adjusted numbers, they failed to provide it and failed to have the payments adjusted accordingly per my request! Always, always read Vehicle Buyers Order thoroughly and ask for a breakdown of the numbers and paperwork to support the Highway Use Tax fee. Exhausting buying experience! BEWARE!!! More
