Fair price & exceptional service To begin with I enjoyed not having to hagel & negotiate on the price of the vehicle (even though I tried ;-), they have bottom line pricing structure To begin with I enjoyed not having to hagel & negotiate on the price of the vehicle (even though I tried ;-), they have bottom line pricing structure and add a $500 service fee for the salesman's commission. I like this because the salesman is working for you to find the best fit for your needs & budget, he's making a fair commission regardless and that takes the negotiating off the table, which allows you to build a good working relationship knowing that he/she is working for your best interest. Richard Wheeler (aka: Ricky Bobby ;-) was my salesman and It's truly been a pleasure working with him from his initial email contact through finalizing the purchase, and taking care of scheduling service to takes care of a couple minor issues with the used vehicle after purchase. I dropped my new car off for service (Alec took great care of me, thanks!) and even though they were out of loaner cars, Ricky pulled a nice used car off the lot to let me drive until my vehicle was ready to pick up. The sales manager made it extremely easy for me to move forward with them by offering me over double for my trade that two other dealerships offered me. Their finance dept. got me financed with a fair interest rate. They also quoted me a reduced price on an extended warranty that I could afford in my monthly budget, and made financial sense to protect my investment with a bumper to bumper, $0 deductible warranty up to 160K miles. In addition, I can say that every member of Brogden's team that I came in contact with went out of their way to make me feel welcome and valued as a customer. One thing that could use some improvement is there policy regarding accepting payment before delivering the vehicle to the customer. There was a minor delay due to a shipping issue. While they compensated me nicely with a courtesy vehicle (awesome!) they cashed my check a week before I received the car. Management really needs to change this policy. Other than that, I am ecstatic about my new Encore. I just love it. THANKS to all that helped me get just what I wanted!!!! More
Salesman Toby Smith was AWESOME! Toby Smith was so good to work with. We went to a different dealership on 04/25/2018 and that dealership (not Robert Brogden) the other dealership tried feeding us some bs line about how well they “recondition” their vehicles, the “reconditioning consisted of doing breaks, oil change and windshield wipers...how do you “recondition” break pads, oil and wipers? It was a sales pitch that I laughed at 😂. After that we looked again at Robert Brogden’s web site and saw what we wanted, 2013 all wheel drive Ford Edge SEL 👍ww called Toby Smith on 04/25/18 asked if was still there, it was, Toby came in on his day off we talked we laughed about coffee and life all while my beautiful wife comfortably and with no pressure looked at the car and test drove the car. My wife was comfortable and relaxed she had all the time she needed to think about the car and make her decision that that’s the one she wanted. We made a deal, bought an additional warranty and drove home in our NICE LOW MILES Edge. More
Mistakes happen, but their follow through was world class. We dropped off our new Terrain to have a trailer hitch installed. Because of how new the vehicle was, there were issues with getting it installed and unfortunately some damage occurred during the installation as well. Steve Kiper (the service manager) was up front and honest about the whole ordeal and said he'd do whatever it took to make it right. Steve kept his word and handled every single request I had made to get both the damages fixed, the hitch installed correctly, and to meet our satisfaction over the errors that occurred during the process. Steve said he understood that this was not the finish once it was all resolved, but the start of delivering a good experience for us and I really appreciated that as a lot of places just do what they can to fix their issue and then kick you out the door. Steve made it clear he wanted to build a relationship based on trust and integrity with us which can be rare in the automotive business. Mistakes happen and I understand that. No one is perfect. Steve's willingness to go above and beyond convinced us that the service department at Robert Brogden is one we can use in the future to have our Terrain taken care of. More
