By far the worst experience I have had! I went there looking for a certified pre owned. I first was shown a Tuscon that had to be jump started with a check engine light on. I was upfront with my credit from the scheduling of the appointment. Sales associate Guardy Larame said hey what if I get you in a 2023 Tucson? My exact words “ yea that’s not going to work”! Oh no the famous words “trust me”. I drive her she’s beautiful. He says you’re APPROVED he swiped my card for a $1,000 down I’m crying out of excitement! He high fives me and congratulates me! Next he tells me to cancel the insurance on my Elantra and add the Tuscon! Great Omg this is really happening ! I get the binder emailed the new card emailed. He says okay wait over by the TV gonna get you to finance to sign etc! 10 minutes laters comes over and says “ can you put 4,000 more down or get a co signer? No Gaurdy I told you this as soon as I sat down! The finance guy said “ we’re sales men we get the sale first! The sales manager Javier Cano told me that’s how we do it here!?!? Oh you take a down payment and have venerable people cancel insurance? The finance guy Luis Oliver Sr. says “ Refund her money and call her insurance company to put her car back on. Like nothing like no big deal lady! Beside being angry I was sad that this is how I was treated. Guardy said NOTHING to me! More

I had appointment with salesman Sam Pal regarding the car I was going to buy. After 40 minutes waiting for him to finish negotiation with other buyer he told me that car I came to see is sold. Went for a oil change. Had an appointment for 10:30 am. the service representative told me the service department closes at 5 pm. must pick up car by then. I went to the service department at 4:47 pm and they said the car was still be worked on. I asked them if the car would be ready by 5 pm and I didn't come down to pick my car up when was the services department going to call me as I am about 15 minutes away. This isn't the 1st time I brought my car for service that it took so long. one wait 3 hours for the oil change. Also when making appointments it takes at least 2-3 weeks to get an appointment, Hyundai makes a good car but I will not buy another car at Rockland Hyundai due to the service department as I believe there is not enough mechanics or areas for the mechanics to work.
