When i explained to him I wanted to move quickly and work retail so we had a very small time window to do everything he was right on it. He even tried to come across town to take my old car for appraisal. I was in amazement that he would be willing to do that! I came to him a year prior and things just didnt line up on my side of the deal but I didn't forget who I worked with since he made it memorable. Now to really make it an awesome experience, Karen in finance was absolutely phenomenal as well. She did not pressure anything and made it very clear if i needed anything to call her. I did end up having to change some financing and she was right on it! She came all the way across town to bring the me paperwork on her own time while I was at work to sign. I would not pick any other dealership! I have also had my previous car serviced several times and drive 45 minutes to them. The entire staff is amazing from service and now to my most recent in sales. Massive kudos, guys! Another amazing experience from Roush Honda in the books More
Salesman was lackluster at best! I was completely surprised about my experience at Roush. I live in the community that is home to Roush and had heard great things about the company. That was not my experience in buying a used car from the used car dealership. The experience relates to my sales person, Vince. He was not good at all!!! He was cold and very distant. I think he was upset because I wanted scratches that were in the window fixed!! There was a scratch in 2 windows and he thought I should just be okay with it. I was willing to walk away from the deal if they were not going to fix them. I was okay with that and he acted like it was impossible to fox them and this is after he acted like they did not even exist. I mentioned them to him like 5 different times and he still acted like he did not see them until I went there send showed them to him. I left the dealership and went home stating I was not interested. He let me leave the lot, an approved buyer, he let leave the lot. Then called me later to say he talked to his manager. He should have talked to his manager before I left!!! He was ridiculous at that point and way too emotionally involved. I was adamant at that point that I wanted the glass replaced!! This guy was a joke and I would NEVER recommend him to anyone!! The manager was fine and the finance guy was fine, but this sales person was horrible!!!! I cannot believe Rough is okay with his behavior. I service customers everyday and I would NEVER let an approved buyer leave my place of business without doing everything possible to seal the deal. Shameful experience!!! More

Unlike my experience at other dealers, I did not feel pressured, and that was one of the biggest reasons I bought from Roush. Everyone--the receptionists, sales people, and finance people--were extremely pleasant and professional. Shawn took a lot of time with me, and I feel like he and John Newton treated me very fairly. We dread it every time, yet our experience on May 21, 2016 with Shawn Risner at Roush Honda has changed our perspective. We know in the future we will be contacting Shawn Risner for our car buying needs. Shawn Risner stood out in the following ways: - He demonstrated a no pressure attitude during the entire process. He respected where we were at and discussed with us the best options to meet our goals. - He was transparent and honest. - He was professional, yet had a great sense of humor. - He was patient with all of our questions. ( My husband asked a lot of questions.) - His interaction with his co-worker was extraordinary as he told one of his co-workers who was getting keys, “I appreciate you.” - Lastly, we believe he is not “your typical car salesman”. He is not focus on the sale as he is focus on making sure we were comfortable and confident with our choice. He reminded us “I focus on the both of you because this is a big purchase for you both.” Wow!!! This perspective and attitude was maintained during the entire process- which illustrates integrity.
