Absolutely the worst service experience I’ve ever had. I brought my Jeep in with nothing more than a check engine light. After keeping it for TWO FULL WEEKS, Route 46 Jeep came back with a shocking diagnosis: “catastrophic engine failure” and a push for a $16,000 engine replacement. The so-called “proof” they gave me? A spark plug with a bit of oil on it and what looked like coolant seepage — things that do not justify writing off an engine. Instead of walking me through possible causes or reasonable repair options, they jumped immediately to the most extreme and expensive fix they could. And then came the insult on top of the injury — they charged me over $900 for this so-called “diagnosis.” No real answers, no solutions, just scare tactics and a massive repair estimate that feels like nothing more than a blatant attempt to rip off a customer. This service department operates in a way that is shameful, dishonest, and unethical. If you value your money and your peace of mind, do yourself a favor: AVOID Route 46 Jeep at all costs. Get a second opinion, because what they’re doing here looks a lot more like predatory upselling than honest automotive care. More

Called 3 other mechanics and Teterboro Jeep and they all said drop it off and youll have it back next day. This place is shady and does not care about the customer at all. Do yourself a favor and bring your vehicle anywhere else unless you don't want it back for weeks. More

My experience with the service manager Dave at this dealership was filled with lies, negligence, overcharging, and disrespect from beginning to end. I brought in my 2019 Dodge Ram due to strange noises. Dave fresco told me the flexplate was damaged and quoted me $1,981.77 for the repair. I was also charged $350 for a diagnostic, which he claimed would include a full check of the engine, transmission, and related systems if I approved the repair. I left my van with them for three days, expecting professional service. When I called their own parts department during that time, I was told the flexplate costs just $129. Yet, I was charged nearly $2,000 for that part and basic labor — no additional repairs were performed. After picking up the van and driving it for just 72 hours, the transmission began slipping. I returned to speak to Dave fresco, and he literally told me to “keep driving it — it’ll get better.” I’m not a mechanic, which is why I brought it to a dealership in the first place. I trusted them to do the job right. A few weeks later, my transmission completely failed. I asked for the promised diagnostic report — and Dave fresco casually said, “We don’t have one.” He admitted their “diagnosis” was just someone “listening to the engine.” That is not a diagnostic. That is a scam. Worse yet, I discovered from a third-party certified shop that the transmission had NO FLUID in it. Yes, they forgot to refill the transmission fluid after removing it to access the flexplate. The technician even showed me metal shavings in the oil after refilling it — likely due to damage caused by running the transmission dry for over a month. This wasn’t just sloppy work — it was negligence that destroyed my transmission. To this day, my van has been sitting dead in my driveway for over 2.5 months. I’ve had to rent a vehicle just to keep my business running. I called Dave over 10 times, left voicemails — not a single response. Not once did he stand up, take accountability, or offer any resolution. In fact, he wouldn’t even stand up from his chair to speak to me face-to-face. He gave me attitude like I was bothering him. I’ve since called multiple reputable mechanics and dealerships, all of whom confirmed that the same repair should’ve cost between $700–$800, completed same day, and included proper testing and diagnostics. None of them could believe what I was charged for what little was done. 🔴 Dave fresco is unprofessional, dishonest, and should not be allowed near a customer service desk. 🔴 Route 46 Chrysler Jeep Dodge is disorganized, negligent, and willing to take your money without doing the job right. 🔴 They left me with a destroyed vehicle, no support, no accountability, and thousands of dollars in damages. Please take my advice and STAY AWAY from this dealership. They took my hard-earned money, caused major damage to my business vehicle, and then completely disappeared. Shame on you, Dave fresco. You are the worst representative of customer service I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I hope this review helps prevent others from falling into the same trap. More

Saleman Hector Colon was a very good salesperson. He was overruled by his boss. Management was not was appreciative of us as customers. He said they will sell this car tomorrow it did not matter if we purchased today or not. We were under a time crunch to get a car so we purchased it, but I will never go back. This is what highway dealerships do and I should have realized this ahead of time. I will not get this car serviced there. They have taken too much of my money already. I will drive further to another dealer to get service. More
This is my second review stemming from a recent vehicle lease… regarding the new truck I really have no complaints but the rest of it, COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. Their quality of customer service is poor beyond measure. First, my temp tag expired and they refused to print me a new one even though my regular plates were not available yet. They tried to tell me the cops wouldn’t give me a hard time, yeah sure, the cops definitely care what sales manager Dave said… Then they didnt make the last payment on my old vehicle, which was part of the agreement with the new lease. Then they said they issued me a check to reimburse me, I open the mail and it was a check for $5. It took almost 2 months to finally get it rectified after I had to go there in person four times because the managers don’t answer the phones or return voicemails. Mind you the issue also only got rectified after a previous bad review that I refused to take down. Just when I thought they undid all of their wrongs, it got worse. I turned in my old vehicle on June 4th, they didn’t ground it and return it to the company that “owned” the vehicle until July 31st… so I get a bill in the mail for repairs for about $3100 from the leasing company, which included the disposition fee that Route 46 was also supposed to pay. There was significant damage to the hood, damage to the roof, and a broken taillight among other minor necessary repairs that I got billed for… of that amount the only thing that was present when I dropped off the vehicle that I was billed for was the removal of window tint - okay, my fault. When I went there (AGAIN) because no one returns a phone call, I requested the inspection report for when they took the vehicle in. They didn’t do one but they did notate the mileage. I have no idea what happened in the five miles it was driven after I dropped it off, in the almost two months that it sat on their lot, but I don’t recommend trusting this dealership with anything. After many attempts to speak with someone regarding this matter, they were unwilling to even have a conversation about the damage that absolutely occurred while the vehicle was in their possession… oh, and make sure you look into the people you deal with before giving them your business, our salesman was arrested multiple times for drug use and distribution. Over five months since I bought a car from them and we’re still being haunted by the experience. They should be ashamed of themselves. More
