Informative, Curteous, & Truthful My wife and I were interested in leasing our second Jeep. We were met at the door by Mike the Service Manager, who referred us to salesman Mike Mangan My wife and I were interested in leasing our second Jeep. We were met at the door by Mike the Service Manager, who referred us to salesman Mike Mangano. Mike found us the exact vehicle we were looking for and went out of his way to make sure we got it and at a price that suited our budget. Within a couple of hours we drove off in our new Compass. We appreciated the service of the entire staff and especially Mike Mangano. We expected to have a traumatic experience as most people do when purchasing a new vehicle, however went through the entire process stress free. The 3 hour oil change I called a week and a half ago for an appointment for an oil change. The earliest appointment they had was a week away. Arrived at service center five minutes before my appointment. Three and a half hours later i am still waiting for my car. Not to mention the four months plus wait for them to fix the recalls on my durango. Horrible customer service. More

Unfortunately, the situation my girlfriend and myself were just in ne Firstly, I am not one who normally writes reviews, whether they are good or bad. Unfortunately, the situation my girlfriend and myself were just in needs to be told. My girlfriend leased a Jeep Liberty from Rt 46 Jeep 2 years ago. She loves her truck, had a pleasant buying experience, and has had no trouble with the vehicle since she got it. Every now and then, we would receive a letter from Rt 46 Jeep with different offers to get into a newer jeep, etc. We normally ignored them, as she is happy with what she has and had no need to get into a different Jeep. Recently, we received another letter saying that the dealership desperately needed used Jeeps to sell, and had a great offer - They would take her jeep back for 20% over book value and get her into a new jeep with 0 money down for the same lease payment or less. To me, this sounded like a scam, but the letter did excite her, so I had her call in for details before we went in. She called in and was told that yes, infact the offer is correct, and that it was guaranteed that the lease payment would be the same or less, no matter the condition of the vehicle, mileage, etc.... I still didn't believe it, so I had her call in once more, with me next to her, and sure enough, they assured her that that was the case, so, we made an appointment to go in. Tonight, after work we made our way over there, and were greeted by a receptionist who directed us to a salesman, RJ, who was very nice. Upon discussing her Jeep's info, what she was looking for etc, he said they would do an appraisal and come back and let us know the verdict. After about 15 minutes, he returned and told us that they could get her into the new 4 door Jeep Wrangler, for a slightly higher lease payment, and only $5000 down. What?! I explained that we called in 2 times and were assured there would be no money spent. He told us that whoever we spoke to never should have told us that. Upon reading the notes they had in the system he did see that they told us that. I asked him why they would lie to us about that, and he said he didn't know and that they shouldn't have done that. At this point we were pretty frustrated, as this was clearly a waste of our time, and a scam. I asked to speak to a manager, and he said Jamie is here extension 801. I asked if he could call her for me and he said "She won't come talk to you." I then told him I was getting angry and if he didn't get me a manager, I was going to contact the general manager and make a complaint. Here's where the craziness starts. RJ then said "Oh! There's another manager, I'll get him for you!", which he did. Another man, who's name I did not catch came over to the desk and asked how we're doing and how we can help. I told him we were frustrated, and explained the situation. He started by telling me that he is retired from the Army and has been doing this for 13 years, and that he can guarantee that any dealership in the country pulls stunts like this to get customers in the door. At this point I explained to him that I have also been working in the automotive business for 10 years, and at none of the dealerships I have worked at, would we blatantly lie to customers. He then said that those dealers must be broke or not know what they are doing. I explained that the BMW dealer I worked at was one of the top dealers in the country and made a tremendous amount of money without lying to our customers. He told me that was not true, and I was making it up. My girlfriend at this point was very upset and told him that they have now lost our business and got up to leave. He followed up by putting his hand directly in her face and told her calm down, calm down. She continues to get up and walk out. I also got up, and told him that this was obviously a scam, and he told me it's not a scam, but if you want to be good in this business "You have to lie to customers to get them in the door." - word for word. I then started walking out while explainintg that I am very good at my job, and do not have to lie to my customers to make a sale. He got right up in my face, and told me "Then you must be pretty sh**** at your job." At this point I was furious. Although I regret it, I stuck my middle finger right in his face and told him to F himself. He continued to follow me out of the dealership, all the way until I got in my car, talking trash to me the whole time. All he needed to do was apologize, but he felt that it was more important to defend his dirty business practices, and in turn has lost a customer. I hope all who read this realize that Rt 46 Jeep will fully admit to scamming it's customers just to make a sale. More

Working with Gabriel on finding the vehicle, reviewing the various option packages and coming to agreement on the price was a clear and comfortable process, he is great to work with. He also introduced me to management during the process and I have received follow up calls from the dealer, the manager and the President of the dealership since the sale to insure that everything was going well and offering their availability if i had any questions.
