Go Someplace Else I had a terrible experience leasing a Jeep at this place. After 2 hours of talking numbers with Ricardo and Mike, I had a handshake agreement for "X" I had a terrible experience leasing a Jeep at this place. After 2 hours of talking numbers with Ricardo and Mike, I had a handshake agreement for "X" amount of dollars on a 42 month lease. After sitting around patiently for another 2 hours I finally get called into the finance office where I'm told that my lease term will instead be 36 months vs. the agreed upon 42, and my payments will go up ten dollars a month. The reason being the bank backing the lease has changed. The Rude Arrogant financial Wizard(Walt) proceeds to insult my families and I intelligence by claiming he's NOW doing me a FAVOR! He repeats over AND over AND over that this is a better deal in the long run. He claims he now is saving me over a thousand dollars. His reasoning is that I'm now making payments for 36 months instead of 42. I shoot back with this deal is now COSTING me an extra 360 bucks over 36 month and come month 37, I would need a new vehicle instead of continuing my lease for another 6 months at the original price. Is Route 46 Jeep going to give me a free car for those 6 extra months??? If they aren't, THEN THIS IS NOT A BETTER DEAL!! Doesn't take a finance Wizard to figure that out! I was there a total of 5 hours and they waited until the absolute very last possible moment to use this tactic to screw me over. The Finance Wizard claims this has nothing to do with him and all he is a paper pusher. If that is the case then I'm guessing you don't need any sort of finance degree or financial background to work in that department.... After blowing him up for 20 minutes the Sales Manager returns and agrees to meet me in the so called middle and only raise my payments 5 dollars instead of 10 a month. I begrugingly agree because I was exhausted and wanted the vehicle and felt my deal was still a good one for myself but, I WILL NEVER RETURN FOR ANY FUTURE BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS! Keep this in mind if you're thinking of visiting here and beware of this slimy tactic. More
