I cant really say I had that bad of an experience with the Service department. It took a REALLY long time to get brakes and oil done (almost 2 weeks), but everyone was fairly nice. I called the manager around 10 times without exaggeration, but never received a call back. I got a loaner rental while my vehicle was being serviced. This is where the real xx comes in. PLEASE READ THIS AND BE WARNED. I had a loaner that I received fairly dirty inside. I actually spent an hour vacuuming the inside of the car out to clean it up a bit. Upon returning the vehicle, no one looked it over and someone brought it into the back. I was told they look it over in the back, which makes no sense and is illegal. I got a call the next morning (about 17 hours after returning it) saying that the car would be a $100 cleaning fee because the whole car was filthy. I called and asked for paperwork, and the report said that the trunk needed to be vacuumed out. Fine, whatever. The big thing was I got told I stole all the rear headrests out of the vehicle. I am a single man with no children...I never even opened up the back doors. The guido manager 'Anthony' is a typical Jersey 'tough guy' that trys to bully people over the phone. After not being able to talk to him due to his over rude behavior and having him talk over me any time I tried to get a word in wise, he says he has no time to waste dealing with me and "Here is how it is going to go...I am charging you, and you're going to pay." He then hung up the phone. This company is full of crooks and unprofessional cheats. I do not know how many people they have done this to, but it is not going to work with me. SCAMMERS, CHEATS, LIERS, THEIFS, and TRASH. Please be warned and go anywhere else. More

Very poor customer service once car was sold!!!! Staff, including manager, seems to loose focus on customer service once car is sold. Had to wait 3hrs. for car's initial wash. The negotiation of the car went smooth, but I was forced to take the car home that same evening. It was so late in the night that the car was not prepared, the car was full of mud, glue, and I had to drive it home with the bumpers still on. There was also no time for salesman to go over the car's features, I was asked to return. I returned a few days later to have it prep. I arrived at the dealer at 5:45 and left at 9:15! My salesman left shortly after our arrival, left me with a business card of another salesman and escorted us to the waiting area. At 8:30 my husband approached the business card salesman in regards to the status of the car, he said still working on it, he would get us when done. At 8:45 I decided to follow-up, only to find that the salesman had left for the night!!!! I was shocked, the receptionist said to wait in the back and she would find out the status. 5 minutes later she approaches me with the key and said the car had been ready in the parking lot. I was appalled, I asked to speak to a manager, who was as good as nothing, He assured me that my salesman would be spoken to, so I asked him what does that do for me and my 3 hours of waiting? What about our request about someone going over the car with us? He said "nothing and if I wanted to have someone go over the car". I said no and walked out only to get to the car and find my handicap tag missing! I walked back into the dealership, the receptionist was apologetic, called the drivers of the car, who confirmed seeing the tag once the car was driven to the car wash, but had no clue as to where the tag ended up. As the receptionist was packing to go home for the evening, she told me that the general manager had sent someone over to the car wash to look for the tag. Shortly thereafter the manager walked over with the tag. I once again walk out and drive home. As I am driving I notice the mileage in the car, it appears that the car wash was 18 miles from the dealer, because that is how many miles were put on my car! Don't think I am returning to that dealership :( More

Horrible Bait&Switch FUZZY MATH Sept 2017 Jeep Compass The manager, Marlon Villatoro, and several sales people - including Hector and RJ - stated that Route 46 honors their TrueCar quotes. I have purchase The manager, Marlon Villatoro, and several sales people - including Hector and RJ - stated that Route 46 honors their TrueCar quotes. I have purchased from Buick, Lexus and Hyundai dealers - all of whom had no problem honoring their TrueCar quote. Upon arrival at dealership, RJ literally printed out a fresh TrueCar quote of $31,144 which included everything except Sales Tax and plates and promised - in writing - no hidden fees. We agreed to this price and not 10 minutes later RJ comes back with a page to add the Sales Tax and plate fees so we could pay. Guess what? They added $2000 of extra fees to the TrueCar price and RJ says now THIS is the ONLY price Route 46 management (Marlon and Cauly) will accept. It was kind of heartless because we were there to buy the car for my son, who was sitting right in front of RJ on crutches recovering from a horrible injury and who had justifiably gotten his hopes up when RJ handed us the TrueCar pricing only to have them dashed 10 minutes later. Worse yet, the dealership tried to hide the extra $2000 fees by calling it a Window Etch fees and Taxes. When the math didn't add up, RJ changed his explanation to say the $2000 extra also had $1000 for "destination" fee, but this fee had already been included once in the TrueCar price, so we didn't really feel like paying it twice!! The manager, Marlon, represented to me that Route 46 dealership honors all TrueCar pricing. He never showed his face, nor did Mr. Chak who Marlon Villatoro promised would call me, and never did. This dealership claims that they do not provide any pricing over the phone and now you know why. Save your time, they will not honor any internet pricing. And check your math, every line item, including the tax, because they are dishonest and will take advantage of you if you let them. More
