I'm disappointed that they said that wasn't possible when I asked for snow tires to be installed. Not only did they not install snow tires, but the tires they did install before I purchased this car were not I asked for snow tires to be installed. Not only did they not install snow tires, but the tires they did install before I purchased this car were not even the tires that would come as factory standard. I've never even heard of this brand of tires. They are Advanta HPZ-02 at 82 dollars a pop when I searched for them online. If I went in and needed tires, they would "recommend" that I get factory (BRIDGESTONE ECOPIA H/L 422 PLUS (ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT) at 258 dollars a tire) or better tires, but when it's coming out of their end, they went cheap. I've driven about 4000 miles on these tires, and the handling in the rain leaves something to be desired. Traction control kicks in with the slightest amount of rain, something that my tires on the RAV4 I traded in never did, and I drive this Venza with an even lighter foot, as I'm still getting used to how it handles (or doesn't) in the rain. I should have pushed the issue, as I drive for a living, and I'll be looking to replace these tires much sooner than I should have to. I have nothing bad to say for my salesperson, Emily, as she was a joy to work with; I just wish I had stood my ground on the tire issue. Lesson learned for next time. More
