I emailed Taji Slothauer to understand how I could order a RAV4 Prime. He did not directly respond to me. Instead, he handed me off to a salesperson who wanted to sell me something on the lot. When I clarified that I knew what I wanted and, given the price point of $50,000, didn't want to settle for what may become available, they didn't know what to do. I asked to be placed on a list for the car and options. Not sure that I will ever hear from them. I typically find that I know more about the RAV4 Prime than most salespeople as I have been researching it for nearly a year. I just wish that I could place an order with Toyota and be notified when, in the next year or so, it was available. But that would be too easy. More

However, after sitting in one and test driving a Tacoma Off Road vehicle it just didn't fit me as far as comfort, feel and space. They then suggested the Tundra and immediately it was I was looking for. They were not pushy and I could have walked out at any time with no hard feelings. very thorough. I went in thinking I would just need an oil change but they did alot more. It was more expensive than I would like but we're going to be keeping this car for a long time so it's worth it t oil change but they did alot more.
