Unexpected purchase of Avalon We really were torn between another SUV to replace our 14 yr. old 4-Runner that we LOVED, or step back into a car of which I was very hesitant! Danny Bosco was great to work with - super helpful and friendly. I drove in from about 200 miles away to look at one of their trucks. Danny (and Nick Lee) did a good job staying in t - super helpful and friendly. I drove in from about 200 miles away to look at one of their trucks. Danny (and Nick Lee) did a good job staying in touch with me prior to my trip and they were right there, ready to go with the truck when I arrived. I ended up purchasing the truck and I'm really happy with it - got a fair deal after some negotiation. One word of caution: Watch out for silly add-ons - I was pretty frustrated than a $389 "theft code" that I didn't need or want was something the dealer had added to the truck, was not advertised, and could not be removed. It may have value to some people but it's a poor business practice to do things like this without full disclosure up front. I think this reflects on the dealer, not Danny, because Danny was a pleasure to work with and was not involved in this aspect of the transaction. I've worked with a lot of dealers and this kind of thing is a trick that is quickly going out of style - it would be wise for Royal Moore to update their practices to be more up front or they are going to be left behind as consumers get smarter. It's not a lot of money but it's annoying. More
