The way that Scott Smith and Renee Anderson treated me was spectacular. They both were very profession (not that I didn't expect them to be). Scott made the process of picking out my car so easy and exp was spectacular. They both were very profession (not that I didn't expect them to be). Scott made the process of picking out my car so easy and explained each step. Once that was done Renee sat me down and explained the financial side of purchasing my car. We have used Rudy Luther Toyota for 13 years and keep going back because of the reliability of Toyota vehicles and the wonderful customer service at Rudy Luther. From the sales people who have sold us t going back because of the reliability of Toyota vehicles and the wonderful customer service at Rudy Luther. From the sales people who have sold us three cars to the various service and finance representatives, we have been thrilled with the level of service provided. The sales people are not pushy. Rather, they have been helpful and have educated us on many issues without trying an hard-sell approaches. The service staff are courteous, competent, and considerate of our time and money. Service times are convenient for us and we never have any issues getting a service appointment on short order. Service reps call with questions and help us to make informed decisions concerning maintenance and repair issues. The facilities are inviting and comfortable if we choose to stay while our service is being performed. Rudy Luther Toyota provides exactly the kind of service and experience we--as two non "car people"--are looking for and that is what keeps bringing us back. More
I brought my 1998 Toyota Camry in for it's annual Spring service appointment and general checkup. Several repairs had been identified at my last service appointment in November or December, so they Spring service appointment and general checkup. Several repairs had been identified at my last service appointment in November or December, so they were going to be addressed as well. My service advisor, Mark Perra, has always handled my car's service and I trust his judgement. Since my 15 year old car had 203,000 miles on it, I knew there was a possibility that it would need more work than we had previously identified, and this, in fact, turned out to be the case. When the service people identified over $5000.00 worth of repairs in just a few minutes, when I asked Mark if I should start thinking about a new car, his answer, usually "No, not yet," was, "$5000 is a lot to put into a 15 year old car - and we may find more repairs are needed as we go along." At that point, I said that all repair work should be stopped and Mark took me over to the new car area and introduced me to Justin, who would help me find a new car. I had checked out the Rudy Luther website, just to see what was available, the night before, so I knew that there were 2 new Camry XLEs on the lot. There were also two or three 2011 XLEs on the lot. (My old car was an XLE and I wanted to stay with that equipment package.) Jason spent several hours with me, test-driving both a used XLE and a new one. Since my previous car had been a 1 year old Luther dealership car, I was quite willing to consider one of the 2011 cars, although they did have more miles than I would have preferred. Only because Jason was so thorough in explaining the differences between the used cars and the new model was I able to avoid making a big mistake. My old car had fold-down back seats which opened a nice, wide pass-through for transporting lumber, garden supplies, antique finds and the many things for which my car serves as my pickup truck. I have even used it as an entry for me to use the trunk as a safe, secure bed during a severe storm while taking a cross-country trip! I assumed that my new car's fold-down seats would open a similarly-sized pass-through, so I never thought to even ask about it until Jason mentioned that a redesign of the car for 2013 created a nice big pass-through, instead of the 18"-square pass-through in the 2011 models. At that point, I asked to see both trunks and, sure enough, it was as he described. With all the things I use my car to transport, I would have be extremely unhappy if I had purchased one of the used cars and later discovered that all the wonderful access-space was unavailable! Thank you, Jason! Having decided which car to purchase, Jason apologized for having to leave (his sister was having surgery) and handed me off to his compatriot, Todd Manzi. Todd got the paperwork started, alerted Jason Hendricks that we would be coming in to see him about financing the car, and brought Jenna Kostelecky over to show me the various options available for my car and to help me decide which ones to purchase. Once I had chosen the options, Todd escorted me to Jason's office, where the purchase agreements, loan agreements, sale of my old car and other legalities were taken care of. Jason was very thorough, friendly and knowledgeable as we walked through the legal and financial arrangements. That finished, Todd reappeared, provided me with a large bag into which I could put all the stuff I carried around in my old car, and even helped me clean it out. Todd and I then spent well over an hour sitting in my new car, while he explained and demonstrated all of it's features. He made sure that I understood all the essential points and that I had a pretty good grasp of the less-essential features before I drove off. He also was very clear that if I had any questions at all, or any problems making things work, that I was to call him as much as I wished and he would help me figure things out. He also made sure that both his card and Jason's card were on the front of the owner's packet, so I would be able to contact them easily. He was patient, clear and very good-humored throughout our time together. Although I had not planned to buy a new car that day, I was prepared for the possibility. The entire set of transactions, from repair analysis of my old car, to trading it in, from checking out and test driving the cars I was considering for purchase, to ordering options and filling out all the forms, from trying out the Bluetooth phone and tuning the radio to finding the lights and windshield wiper switches - all of it was handled smoothly, professionally, with advice and guidance but no pressure. Is it any wonder that I think Rudy Luther Toyota Scion is a great dealership? I have every expectation of keeping my new car for the next 15 years and one of the things that will help make that happen is the great service provided by this dealership. More
All personnel that I interfaced with were pleasant and did not pressure me to purchase additional services. I was very happy to get in on the same day at a time that was very reasonable. I was told that it would take 90 minutes to complete the work--surprise it took only 50 minutes. Plus I got some water, popcor was very reasonable. I was told that it would take 90 minutes to complete the work--surprise it took only 50 minutes. Plus I got some water, popcorn and a cookie!!! Later in the day I recalled that I forgot to get my oil change card punched for a freebie. I called and they told me I could come in anytime until closing--got it! Thanks More
My husband and I spent a whole Saturday a couple of weeks ago, driving all over the cities to different dealers to get a good deal on a used car and to be treated with respect. Little did we know that the de ago, driving all over the cities to different dealers to get a good deal on a used car and to be treated with respect. Little did we know that the dealer of our dreams was 5 minutes away from my work. Jim King and Wayne Rocek did all that they could do and more to make this a great buying experience. From the test drives to the explanation of the van's features, the price, the trade in price, they really just amazed us. Also, John Yangwel went above and beyond to make sure we got the best interest rate on the purchase of the 2011 Toyota Sienna. This whole purchasing experience really feels like a dream. We love the new van! We would highly recommend this dealership! More
Great and fast service--everything explained well too. Waiting area is the best also, and quick, efficient way to pay/pick up your vehicle when finished. Waiting area is the best also, and quick, efficient way to pay/pick up your vehicle when finished. More
