Tried to be a repeat customer My wife and I had purchased a 2017 Sorrento in 2017 and were pleased with the experience. We had wanted to upgrade in 2019 as we put a lot of miles on My wife and I had purchased a 2017 Sorrento in 2017 and were pleased with the experience. We had wanted to upgrade in 2019 as we put a lot of miles on our vehicles, 50K in two years. We had received several emails and letters describing a trade program and were interested. Long story short it was a " bait and switch" deal, should of known but I got sucked in to a marketing ploy. My real problem was with the two separate emails I received the following day from Mike- Team Zippidy and "customer service". Mike's stated the typical "talked to my manager" schtick and I will call you with some new info about the vehicle you test drove. After not hearing from them and knowing my wife really liked the car, I emailed Mike back to see what he could do for us. That was Monday and today is Wednesday night, still no communication from Darrow. Thought that this was finally an "on the level" dealership after our first purchase but it turns out they are game players like most of the places people are sick of dealing with.....pretty disgusted! More

forceful immediate salesperson. Advised what we were looking for. immediate response. I found a KIA that had been on the lot for 70+ days. I took the vehicle f immediate salesperson. Exactly what we wanted. asking price ok. but my son-in-law stopped over by us and advised us that Car GURU showed a different price than what was on the window sticker aa difference of $5.000.00. We were given the price of what the Car Guru had. So far all well and good. It should be carefully noted that my wife and I are in our late 70's. We did have a trade-in a 07 Kia we bought new. But, there was a problem. The engine has a major issue. NO problem yet. No real offer from the sales dept. 1/2 hour we were given only $100 trade-in. We had been there now for 2 hours. Digress. The vehicle had to be towed from my house to the dealership. Three hours go by. Met the sales mgr. Very nice. FOUR hours go by. Met the finance mgr. Somewhat pushy but ok.Paperwork was the big issue. I beleive he took advantage of us by our age. As the ppgs were put in front of us, it was sign here, next page sign here and so on. six hours go by. I beleive this dealrship was out to wear us down. The finance mgr talked us into things we really didnt need, but we did anyway. The monthly payments we were able to handle. The # of years bothered us. This KIA is going to be our last vehicle we'll buy in what remains of our life. There was no compassion showen to us at any time. I would be remiss in not telling you. I'm a Army veteran of 27 years between active Army and reserves. I'm also a retired LEO from the Milwaukee County Sheriffs Dept of 25 years. I'm not sure if I received a military discount? Does RUSS DARROW treat all customers [elderly] like ths? This review will be put in my file. More
