We wanted to great a dependable SUV so we picked a Toyota RAV4 based on opinions of friends and family who own the RAV4 along with internet information on the vehicles. I decided to try Facebook to see what was available. I located a RAV4 at Russ Darrow in Wauwatosa. I ended up chatting with Ashley J. from the dealership online. She was very pleasant and scheduled an appointment for me the next day to look at the RAV4. Before I left for my hour drive to Wauwatosa I received a call from Valencia to confirm my appointment time. She was very pleasant too to deal with on the phone and in person. I arrived at the dealership and met Mike a salesperson who assisted me to Valencia, he was nice too. I drove the vehicle 2016 RAV4 and Valencia right de with me explaining everything about the vehicle she also acted as my GPS since I was unfamiliar with the "wild" streets of Wauwatosa. I decided to purchase the RAV and along the way met two "Steve's" who helped finalize the purchase. A good buying experience overall but remember it is a time consuming process! More

The finance workers however, were somewhat rude and disrespectful in their communication and efforts to sell extended warranty and to negotiate to interest rates. The staff were too much....from putting the UVO app on my phone to helping me program my phone, hands free Appleplay, and radio preferences, and shopping for a insurance company that offered me only what I needed. (towing and window coverage are included with my car so why pay for an insurance company too.) On my previously purchased vehicle I have used the service department for oil changes and routine maintenance, always without an issue. Very quick, appointments when I needed, and reasonably priced. Honest, reliable, fair pricing, great staff - excellent business! More

Dishonest On a Sunday evening I did an online search for a used car. Found a Kia Sportage on truecar.com with Russ Darrow. I left my contact information as I On a Sunday evening I did an online search for a used car. Found a Kia Sportage on truecar.com with Russ Darrow. I left my contact information as I was interested in the car. Monday morning I received an email confirmation from TrueCar with the same price I saw online. The same morning I received an email FROM RUSS DARROW stating the car was available and they also had the same price listed in their email. I called the dealer and spoke to the salesman, Carl, listed on their email and suddenly...blah, blah, blah...current market value...is now $3,000+ higher. They said they only guarantee the advertised rate for 24 hours. I pointed out I found it the day before AND the Russ Darrow confirmation came that morning so I am within the 24 hours. More blah, blah, blah, they couldn't possibly sell it for that price. Although he was polite, I advised I would never buy a car from them. The following day I received a call from Mike at the dealership. If he was supposed to be their customer service representative, he must have failed his training. He was like a mobster, not one word from him was in a pleasant manner. He spoke to me like he wasn't the least bit interested in my opinion and trying to put the blame on me as being uncooperative. All I heard over and over was prices can change at any time. He actually said to me "if I never speak to you again in my life I could live just fine." What reliable business speaks to customers that way? I found a similar complaint about him on another website review. How can they allow this man to represent them? Online reviews are one thing, but a real complaint like this bait and switch needs to be reported to the Wisconsin Trade and Consumer Protection Division. I have filed a complaint with them. More
