I went to the dealer to purchase a 2013 Chrysler 300. The salesperson led me to believe that he would not be willing to sell the car for less than its MSRP. I didn't have a good feeling, as this was an end-of-year model, and expected to get a better deal. I did some on-line research, and found other dealers willing to sell for more than $3000 below the MSRP. Obviously, I purchased the car elsewhere. Two weeks later he finally followed up to see why I hadn't been back. When I told him I bought the car elsewhere, he called me a f**ing a**hole and hung up. I expect you can get better service, if your're willing to overpay for a car, but I won't be back to find out. More

And he's funny too. Made us laugh, entertained us, engaged us in conversation. And he's local, so he knows the area. This is Summit, NJ, a nice town, surrounded by nice towns. And this is a NICE dealership. Robert let us test drive HIS demo car, a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. He knew the car in an out. Why? Because it's what HE drives, not just what he sells. We left, without feeling any pressure. Called him the following day and he made us an offer over the phone. We gave him our number, and he came VERY close. We said, we'll be right there. We signed with Robert. We were at the dealership for about 30 minutes, before we left. The deal was done. The application was done. 30 MINUTES!!! I cannot say enough good things about Robert and Salerno Duane Jeep in Summit, NJ. I even went to the General Manager to shake his hand, and applaud Robert and the dealership. And get this, the GM grew up in my home town too! A local business, run by local people. And they give a great deal to boot. A+++ More

Why I have purchased two cars from this dealer and was very happy with the experience, however my services experiences are horrendous. I have been back multiple times trying to get simple things fixed. very happy with the experience, however my services experiences are horrendous. I have been back multiple times trying to get simple things fixed. Since they were close and gave free loaners I put up with it. Then I brought in my car with a blown engine. They failed to pull the codes, were unprepared for an insurance inspection, and fixed an electrical issue before finding out the mechanical problem. So they fixed wiring and then had to replace the engine. They also tried to get me to fix the water pump, before we replaced the engine. Then they failed to honor the quote! I just had my wife's car serviced by another dealer and found out that they replaced one rear rotor and resurfaced the other one. Speaking to two other mechanics they told me this is potentially dangerous. Great place to buy a car, but find another place to service it. More
