I am sorry to learn that you were less than satisfied with your most recent visit at our facility. I know it must be hard to understand how the value of a car can change so dramatically within 9 months. The pre-owned market changes on a daily basis with the eb and flow of inventory and seasonality. Please feel free to go to Edmunds.com (Third Party non-affiliate of Salerno Duane)and check the current Trade-in Value of a 2015 Infiniti QX60 with 15,000 miles. You will find that the value is $26,812 and the dealership will incur several thousand dollars in additional expenses to replace all 4 tires and certified warranty costs. We valued your vehicle at $29,000 plus the cost of the tires and certification. We pride ourselves on an open and transparent way of doing business. We would have gladly taken the time to explain the entire process, but were not given a chance as you immediately left after we told you the value. I appreciate the note back. However, I have since taken the car to other dealers, and have been offered $34,200 for the car (vs. what you offered me at $27,000). In addition, the dealer that offered $34,200 noted that 1 bid stood out to them for the car - yours. Your dealership unknowingly bid on my car through this other dealer, and offered almost $34,000. There's no way to avoid that your dealership attempted to take advantage of me. Now, I not only know that Infinity's don't work for me, I also know how Salerno Duane does business. Please don't insult my intelligence again. Similar cars to mine are selling for $42k online, and I was offered significantly more by reputable dealerships. You simply tried to make an obscene profit on me for the 2nd time in 9 months.
